I didn't think that a guy would think of it as a woman being too active/changing partners like undewear cause of it. But just to think about it, I think that's why men who has been in my bedroom questioned me afterwards when it came up randomly cause I keep both male and female condoms right on my drawer in FULL view. I have left overs from previous partner, still not expired, why throw it away, I have my own family pack, yes, the family pack, I'm not kidding, and just to give him a break, I have a couple of female ones too. And my pill is in full view in my bathroom, who cares? I don't think anything of it, it's just being prepared. But if he wonders, and believes I'm a whore than he can leave just as horny as he came in through my door. | |

Here is a question for the OP, by you having the condoms, does that mean you have been a little to sexually active also? By you not having them with you, does that make you even worse? You used them all up?
No, I think not. She just happens to be a very well prepared woman...simple as that.

I mean come on, it is not highschool anymore, being prepared is a good thing...
and it saves you running down to the convinience store with a woody trying to buy a three pack and then trying to get back into the mood...
See if the women is prepared that is good... no and or ifs or butts...
now if you wake up handcuffed to a radiator... that might be bad

Here's the thing....guys can be forgetful, or do not plan for things...or they are so excited they're about to have sex they don't care if it's protected....I have always carried condoms in my purse, probably since I was about 20 or so, some I've used, some have been thrown out due to expiries...or just being icky after too much time in my purse lol.
I refuse to depend on another person to take care of my sexual health and I keep myself prepared so when that option for sex comes...I have the choice.. | |

Posted: 3/1/2006 9:23:20 AM | I always have condoms ready at the drop of a hat. I don't sleep around, and honestly, I have to go through them from time to time to throw away expired ones. *Sigh* I would like to start using them BEFORE they expire.........
I can see thought why it would be weird. I guess if I was to go over to a guys house, and he pulled out condoms and had a whole drawer full it would be suspicious.
At least you know they're playing it safe. | |

Get to security and for whatever reason they had to search my bag, open it up and the first thing they see is a big box of condoms! The woman searching my bag actually complimented me on being prepared and she hoped her daughter would be that smart when she went! And of course...people were coming up to me all week asking for condoms! | |

But I don't think it indicates a girl is too sexually active if she does carry them. Maybe she just keeps one in her purse or something just to be on the safe side, even if she's not planning upon having lots of sex with anyone. Because you never know what can happen.  | |

If you were the prepared one and had a condom, does that mean that YOU are too sexually active? Or just that you have your act together and are smart enough to be prepared should something should arise (so to speak).
Reading through these forum entries makes me see just how often men adhere to double-standards, maybe without even realizing it. But I suppose women also have their double-standards too.
I tend to think we should think of, and treat, one another as if we are all on the same level...unless you're both into that God says the woman is suppose to obediently submit to whatever her man says because he was made the ruler of the household and is therefore wiser and smarter than any woman could ever be crap. A lot of people still believe in that stuff. Wierd. | |
