And yes I will agree that it does take a certain someone to approach a woman taller than him. Sometimes it is a bit intimidating, but it all works out in the end. I just think taller women are sexier but like I said I've dated on both ends of the spectrum...but yes I do prefer someone taller, just hard finding a woman taller that's comfortable w/ someone shorter...Oh Well, best of luck  | |

Read his history, he has a lot to learn about lots of things, like how much better cartoons were back then, and how to treat ladies, expecially nice ladies. I say good luck to him. I don't get the generalization. What about height makes a woman more attractive? I never really cared how tall a woman is, as long as she's not taller than me. I've never looked at a tall woman and thought that she was intimidating for that sole reason. Although i've only met maybe two girls that were taller than me and i instantly approached them do to sheer amazement, lol. | |

Some of us might be too picky to run off with the first "right" one that comes along. This guy seems to show the perfect example of the short guy syndrome. So ready to be in someones face that he even picks on one of the sweetest ladies on here. How much do you want to bet that he doesn't last the month out in these forums, with that attitude. He's not the first, or most unique. And deff. won't be the last, I'm sure.

Posted: 6/5/2008 7:56:46 PM | I am 6'7" I know all my live I have been hit on left an right by tiny women (had one g/f that was 5'1") I think it is part of a DADDY complex for them Maybe they are more bold than the taller women? Tiny women are called spinners. Put them on top and spin them. 
I think it would creep me out seeing eye to eye making love with a lady my height. I have never done it, so only a guess. I don't really have a preference. If your a tall woman be bold and proud and let others know of your interest. | |

I was married for 15 years to man who is 4" shorter than I in bare feet. Yes, we made quite a spectacle when we went out and I wore a short dress and high heels. He loved it. My last serious BF is 6' but did not like it if I wore my 5" stiletto boots and had 1" on him. Again a personal decision, but I consider it a bit shallow for me. Men: If she's taller and you like her, tell her. If she says "no" you're no worse than when you started, and your height may have no bearing on her decision anyway. My only concern with tall women (i.e. my height 6'+) is if they are overweight, as then I'm pretty much dating someone the same size and weight class as me (180lbs), and that's just odd... I'd feel like I was being carried away to be raped by an Amazon!

I frankly don't understand what the issue is with women and height they seem to think it makes adiffernce. it has no relation to penis size. I'm a big where it counts.... A tall guy can't protect you any better than a short guywho knows how to fight. I've beaten up guys 3 times my size in fact. tall skinny guys are the easiest to fight just a good shot in the stomach or solar plexis with my knee will make them go down. and they are easier to fight than someone my own height. I think its becuase I got a lower center of gravity and its eaiser to throw a tall guy around. men are not fashion accessories and we are not there to match your sheos and purse. So if you feel awkard being seen next to a short guy what about being next to a short friend? Or being next your grandma who is probably tiny. I got a best friend who's 6 foot tall. Guess who gets mre girls? me! why? Confidence! i'll go up to any girl I think is hot. What do I have to lose? My point is that some of you women have to get over this whole height issue. Its not an issue! We are all the same size lying downa nd in the end who really cares what others think. My cosuin just married a black guy! Even though tht's a bit extreme (to the max!) Such issues are irelevent and rejecting a guy for being shorter than you is just being nit picky and holding you back from meeting the greatest guy.
Its kind of fun to have sex witha tall girl and have those long legs wrapped around you. Or to slide her panties all the way down her long legs. Whee! I'm at the ball park in mcDonalds....! Short girls are great too especially to have on top of me bouncing up and down or by my side just being so cute when we walk together, Either way height will never prevent me form choosing a girlfriend. I do have certain preferences. Such as non-smoker. I also despise white lipstick or women who shave off their eye brows and paint on new ones that just looks ridiculous!
its funny how height was enver an issue for me until I started using pof and I got rejected for being short. I've been with short women as well as tall women. I flirt with every girl who is attractive to me. Most couples are 3 inches apart in height and 3 years apart in age. Men don;t carea bout age and height and neither should women. Women make too many rules and resrictions for themselves and eachother. You my dear are just limiting yourself. Take the guy who treats you right not the guy who is tall or taller than you. Withy uo being 6 foot tall I would stand at your shoulder. Ia ms ure most of your friends are shorter than yourself and hanging out with them or dating a guy around their height woudl not be that socially awkwardif you hgave it a try ebcuase people dont; care. most people won;t notice if you got a stain on your shirt. And you could walk around all day with a small bit of ketchup or jiz covering your shirt and none would be the wiser... | |

After being with some shorter women, I wouldn't mind someone who was closer to my height (6'4"), although that might be hard to find. Currently seeing someone who is not much more than 5'1".
But when you're cuddling on the couch, a height difference doesn't make a whole lot of difference. | |

Posted: 7/9/2008 8:06:45 PM | I have been 6'0" since I was 12 y/o. It does seem at times like the taller guys are going for the shorter women, but maybe that is just my perception.
The majority of guys will not give me a second look since I am overweight. So I think it is not so much of an issue of height, but a combination of things... a guy would have to like tall PLUS BBW in my circumstance. I would love to have a man taller than me. But, if a guy is shorter comes along that is ideal in every other way... how can I resist???
Once folks get to middle age, we realize that height is not as important of an issue any more. It's what's in the heart that really matters. And as it has been said before, it doesn't matter much when cuddling on the couch or in bed!
