I often get approached by shorter men which is odd you would think that they would be more intimidated then the taller men. You would think that a tall guy would want a tall girl and vice versa but thats not the chase I see this tall guys with girls that come to their chest it doesn't make sense. You are defintely right about it takes a special guy to approach tall women like ourselves. I still can't figure out the why part I would like to know also. I mean I am not ugly or anything like that either I just guess that it is intimidation thats the only answer I have unless someone else out there can give me another answer. | |

I don't like dating anyone under 5'3" and i can't date anyone over 5'11" because we'd look ridiculous together. There's a realization that has to be made. Tall people usually look very good together, which means that to stick in you're own comfortable height zone you have a better chance of being recognized as "the good looking couple." It's that simple.
Aside from dating someone because I like them... I want people to notice us and how we look together. If I go out with a woman who's 6'7" in heels I'd look like porn midget.

Since I dont have to get dressed up for work I usually wear wrangler, or Levi, (almost all western style clothing runs longer, it is designed so the pants will cover your boots/ lower leg when in a saddle) also I hit the mens department, mens pants run longer! | |

the women i have dated in this last year alone have been eithor my height or even taller , i find all women attractive. Taller/ petite /bbw / , unfortunatly a lto of women my height are looking for taller guys, heck i understand that. They want to look up to their men and thats good , but at the same time too all you taller women that just cannot find that guy maybe you should lower your height requirement before continuing to complain .

(shorter is great for some positions..taller GREAT for others...so of course its always good to have a healthy supply of different heighted ladies around to indulge your every whim)

i have dated...actually specifically dated one lass..class in all ways and absolutely level headed...but she would always insist that i drive...(even when we took her car)...
her issue with that wasn't that the man was in control...but that she didn't want people thinking that she was scooting around town with some 'loser'...
it was 'just a matter of fact' with her and i completely respected that.
it all came down to image... and what we 'THINK everybody else see's in us...and of course here enters the desire to 'appear' normal.
"OH!!..i can't possibly be seen holding hands with THAT girl that is half a foot taller than me...everyone is going to wonder who is the dominant one in the relationship"...
( i may not be right...but i KNOW im not entirely wrong either).
((that will be my catch phrase for the night...stay tuned))

Some people are so afraid of what other miserable humans will think when they see that shorter guy holding hands with a taller woman. Or wondering if those street punks in the corner are gonna whisper and talk sh1t. Quite frankly, my opinion on humans is quite low, so I don't wish to put too much care into what anybody thinks or says. It is totally irrelevant.
However, I do warn shorter men to be intimidated by taller women for the simple fact that some taller women may become physically abusive or violent in a relationship with a shorter male. Also, whenever a man approaches a woman taller than he is, she may treat him like stir-fried sh1t before she even knows him, so most short men should always steer clear from tall women unless they have a brain-dead mentality when it comes to how women treat guys. | |
