So Tra C...What you have mentioned and the way in which you talk about height, it is obviously a requirement and not preference. So what do you believe is shallow and superficial?
i dont see anything wrong with wanting to date someone taller than myself...ive dated shorter men...i even married a guy that was 3 inches shorter than me....its just uncomfortable to me. i want to be able to look into their eyes without bending down...or without them eye level to my breasts.
what i find shallow and superficial are people who are into ONLY appearance ie: girls that only want to date men that look like a rockstar or a movie icon...men that only want to date supermodels. sure if i fall in love with a shorter guy...then so be it...im not completely ruling that out. its happened before. im just saying id RATHER be with someone taller than me. security is a HUGE factor. | |

At the end of the day, it is probably the least important characteristic of a woman I can think of though. If a girl was 6'6 and had a good personality, I'd definitely go for her. Actually from my experiences here, most girls over about 5-5 due to the fact they like heels don't care for guys my height. all of my previous girlfriends/lovers were taller than I am.
the tallest being 5'11"...
i am attracted to tall women... i think they are gorgeous. intimidating, maybe... but it's responses like the post that started this thread that make me uneasy about myself for being short. yes, i'm short.. sorry. | |

Just because some taller women have said no due to height doesn't mean they all will. Its music to my ears when a shorter guy says to me "I love your height!".

I've dated a few tall woman... between 5'8" to 5'11". I am not into the short women. I don't consider myself bad looking either. I'm 6'4", in pretty good shape, and have goals set for me.
There are a lot of men out there that don't have the balls to walk up to a woman and talk with her. That's not me. I have no problem doing that. lol. Plain and simple | |

I 'm so attracted to her and realized the attraction was nothing to do with her height; it is her awesome kind and bubbly personality that hooked me. All of my friend’s razz me about her with such comments like "so you’re going out with Amazon women again... “I just smile and say hell yea! I did get one positive comment from a friend last week after he spent some time with us he said "now I see why you’re attracted to her"
I have come to my own conclusions... I love women tall or small. It’s about the person and who there are and everything else is superficial. | |
