I am 6'4" & i don't really go for tall ladies, i think they can be a bit to masculine, give me a small women any day over a 5'11"or taller, plus most of the tall ladies i have met have a bit of an i love me attitude.

Apparently, it's based on the inverse of the "logic" often used which asserts that short men are less masculine. Personally, I think both notions are ridiculous.
But there we are again, so I'm off to enjoy the nice weather , turn my face up to the sun, and hopefully see some tall woman's beautiful countenance smiling down upon me. | |

Taller women are also more likely to have an athletic build which I find attractive and shows that one is active and keeps their body in shape. I love dating women who play volleyball as they normally have an attractive, athletic build. But since I am on the shorter side of the height spectrum for men I probably wont get my tall, athletic woman. I prefer a taller woman over a shorter one anyday. | |

He was not thankful for my ability to not judge him by his height at all. I am 5 ft 9in, taller in shoes. Same thing with overweight guys. I don't expect worship for agreeing to date a man with these physical traits, but jeeze be nice to a gal that is nice to you!

I dated tall men, men the same height, some a little shorter, but fell in in love with a man who was 5'3" and was married to him for 10 years.
Maybe we looked like Jack and the bean stalk. We didn't really care.
We never really had a problem with the height difference.
(Of course, we had the usual problems that come with marriage..kind of takes the focus of the simpler stuff!)
I never really thought of him as short.
I thought of him as "Jack" which was a combination of a whole bunch of things.
When I looked at him, I didn't see a certain height, I saw him.
But since my divorce I have wondered at times if men were generally not attracted to tall women.
But as someone else already pointed out...it might be something else...our habits, our preferences, the signals we give off. Good things to consider.
Thanks to all of the men who love us tall ladies! Good to know you are out there!

Women can be any height and be very attractive, I tend to like taller women however I have dated very short women also.
One thing that I see about some very tall women is that a few are a bit maculine and that is a turn off, others are gawky but for the most part many are very attractive.
I think being tall is more a of a requeirement for men, because many women will not date a short guy.

It's true size limits ~ same with men. Big men can't do what small ones can, women are no different.
I can't lift a 170 pound woman and have my way ~ 120 -130 much better
Find one in the middle ~ and you still can't get it all in one package, I seen little ones do big thing and big one do delicate things
Little ones are easier to hold ~ and don't make it all down hill to their side of the bed, but harder to dance with.
Tall ones don't need help reaching things and you can tangle legs and get a firm position and ride.
Like short hair and long hair ~ advantages to both.

Posted: 4/1/2009 9:23:27 PM | I have the same experience as the OP. I get lots of attention from short guys and I think it is because they feel inferior and are out to prove they can handle a big woman to boost their ego.
Unfortunately, personally I want a guy who is tall enough I can wear my heels without looking down at the bald spot on the top of his head. Short guys may be great but they just don't attract me.

Posted: 4/1/2009 9:27:23 PM | Personality is what counts in the end. I'm tall but have dated girls from near 5 ft to almost my height. Never placed too much emphasis on the height part, and the girl I fell for the most was also the shortest I've ever dated, 5-2. 
Tall girls have their advantages, but its harder to find a nicely shaped 6 ft tall woman compared to a mid-5 ft tall woman. Plus I've noticed that the shorter one can be a helluva lot more active and spunky! | |

You can go to China and feel like a king of OZ.
You take far less steps while gaining more distance walking from your car to the store.
When you fly you are offered the wing seat without asking.
Then there is numerous naughty items too, tall people can doo...
