| Fave Canadian Bands? Posted: 1/11/2007 11:02:23 AM | Was glad to see someone remembered Teenage Head. Other great bands not meantioned were Zon, FM, Saga, and BTO. The list is fairly endless. All of the performers named are great in their own right. As a result, I am on the fence and can't state which 5 I would go with. It's just great to see the maple leaf so strongly represented in music (no matter what your taste or preference is).

| Fave Canadian Bands? Posted: 1/11/2007 1:27:53 PM | I'm in agreeance with the people that can't stand Nickelback. They're all about good hooks and really cheesy lyrics
umm you mention The Tragically Hip and Billy Talent?? You want to talk hooks and cheese these guys are cheesier than Chester the Cheeta and hookier than Julia Roberts
And regarding JD Fortune he loves gripping the mic thats true, but only cause it reminds him of something......................
|
| Fave Canadian Bands? Posted: 1/11/2007 9:21:19 PM | | Yah Nickeback really is the most terrible Canadian band. The same guy who writes they're cheesy ass cliche lyrics also writes for Theory of a Deadman...aka Nickelback #2. | |

| Fave Canadian Bands? Posted: 1/12/2007 9:18:24 PM | Rush is my all time favorite
I liked Glass Tiger as well.
Did you know Saga was initially looking for a name of a gas to name their band by, and then realized A gas backwards was Saga and then went with that as well.
Also, when the Guess who was taping No Sugar Tonight, someone hit a button by accident, and that's how New Mother Nature ended up part of it. They liked it so much when they played it back, they kept it that way :)
