Big Sugar was one of my favourites to see live; and I'm going to see Grady next week, although not sure if they count, only being 1/3 Canadian now...

The Trew's are great - seen them a few times. The classics Rush and Honeymoon Suite are always good...

I've never posted on this site before but I think I will now considering the topic.
I saw Attack In Black not too long ago at the mansion house and know them personally and I'd give them a vote.
I'd give a vote to the hip
also eric's trip and elevator
thrush hermit, sloan, and I guess that's about it.

Apparently I look like Dallas Green wit my beard and glasses on, lmao! U pplz gotta check out My Darkest Days, #1 unsigned band in Canada, wrote wit Chad Kroeger in B.C. over the past year, and the lead singer's brother is the base player 4 Three Days Grace, and both bands grew up in a lil' town outside of Peterborough called Norwood, and they're one of the best live bands ever!!! The Trews and My Darkest Days are my two favorite bands, and they're both Canadian!!!

My fave Cdn bands are all still out there playing ...

David Rotundo Band -- blues harp/singer out of T.O. -- every song is an event with this guy

Lighthouse -- sounding more and more like B.S. & T. every summer

Crowbar -- still rockin', still a dynamite show

Trooper -- a rock show done the way it should be done ... never miss seeing them, at least once, on their summer cross-Canada tours

Julian Fauth -- T.O. southern blues piano player with hands that mesmerize

Jeff Healey Band -- still kicks azz, even without Jeff (r.i.p)

Downchild Blues Band -- they still blow me away, every gig I see

-- cdn guy

The Golden Dogs put on a good show, but I'd have to say The Band is my all time favourite.
