| Drug Use in Nova Scotia Posted: 12/20/2005 3:53:54 PM | Magic mushrooms are natural too
Do the pot users think it's ok for them to drive under the influence M.A.D.D. now covers pot use in their ads.
| Drug Use in Nova Scotia Posted: 12/20/2005 3:54:46 PM | I've never tried mushrooms or any other hard drugs really. So much for gateway drug theory.
Driving under the influence of pot differs per person. I know some pot smokers who will and it doesn't seem to affect them but there are others who it obviously affects so I would say smoking while driving should be a no no just because you don't who will or won't be affected by it.

Can someone tell me why weed should be illegal and alcohol not? I mean marijuana is a natural substance and does not cause people to become violent or confrontational as alcohol does to some.
I would love to be able to answer that question but if I was to do so....I'd be voicing my personal opinion again and it appears I have offended more than enough people for one day...to those of you I did offend...again I'm sorry..I did not intend it to be that way...:)
| Drug Use in Nova Scotia Posted: 12/20/2005 3:57:19 PM | jaglaw my offence was taken over the "wholesome" comment. It infers that people who smoke pot are in someway unwholesome.
I've gotten over it. You can too.

What about marijuana for medical use?
Well I ask this question...What about Cocaine for medical use? Now I'm gonna do my Forest Gump impression: "Thats all I have to say about that..."...lol
| Drug Use in Nova Scotia Posted: 12/20/2005 4:03:31 PM | | funny thing ... at one time alcohol was illegal (more-so in the US) ... actually there are a lot of things that are ok in today's society that were, if not illeagal, very much frowned upon, in the past | |
| Drug Use in Nova Scotia Posted: 12/20/2005 4:06:03 PM | | Pot can cause a lot of impairment when it comes to driving. It is not the same type of impairment like alcohol, not as noticeable, but I do agree. I don't have gripes with people doing pot, personally I think pot-heads are more reasonable than alcoholics (my opinion only), but definatly should not be operating heavy machinery, cars included. | |
| Drug Use in Nova Scotia Posted: 12/20/2005 4:12:41 PM | Wouldn't pot use while driving cause your reflexes to be a little slow not to mention the decreased level of understanding severity of certain actions while driving??
I'm only goin by what I've heard the effects of the use of pot to be...and of course watching Cheech and Chong movies...lmao

| Drug Use in Nova Scotia Posted: 12/20/2005 4:17:04 PM | | Not to mention that pot use also decreses you ability to use judgment. This is why a lot of people feel they are more "creative" when they are high. | |

| Drug Use in Nova Scotia Posted: 12/20/2005 5:29:09 PM | Hey Polly G
so glad you have responded to this thread. i read it this morning and was truly annoyed. Such things as using the word "wholesome" to describe women is dated. i wonder how many women find a man with bagpipes appealing.......
| Drug Use in Nova Scotia Posted: 12/20/2005 5:56:07 PM | ok...easy now....I appologized for my comments and didn't mean to come accross like it sounded....no need to get all personal on me....
If you didn't like what I wrote earlier today you should have said something and I would have appologised to you then...I'm not here to offend anyone..I was just voicing an opinion thats all....geezz
| Drug Use in Nova Scotia Posted: 12/20/2005 5:59:50 PM | yes...i see that you have apologized but indeed you've set your self up by stating you feel its not very attractive...................true? | |
| Drug Use in Nova Scotia Posted: 12/20/2005 6:04:40 PM | Well I can see your point...but we all have our things we look for in a person..what I said was just one of my things...lol
I do thank you for replyin tho..I truely didn't mean to hurt anyones feeling at all..thats definately not the type of person I am...:)
| Drug Use in Nova Scotia Posted: 12/20/2005 6:05:56 PM | jaglaw run and hide! HA HA
Drugs are no worse then most alcohol ... and actually you don't see too many high people wanting to start fighting random people (that's a bit of overgeneralizing for very few drunk people actually want to fight ... but it happens more often then people who are high)
I bet if you did a poll, way, way over 66.6666% of the population (that's 2/3rds) have tried drugs at some point in their life
| Drug Use in Nova Scotia Posted: 12/20/2005 6:07:43 PM | | wow signgirl you are taking this all a bit too personal. but we all have hang ups of what we dont like and like in a person. we have that right to be picky and face it people judge each other every day. no matter what the issue at hand is. | |
| Drug Use in Nova Scotia Posted: 12/20/2005 6:15:32 PM | personal....maybe?
we all have interests and dislikes...that's what makes online dating so successful...you can stay away from what you are not interested in. i think that "to each their own" would be a better approach than being judgemental about the social use of "drugs".
there...I'm done! | |
| Drug Use in Nova Scotia Posted: 12/20/2005 6:16:14 PM | Well..I guess I kinda asked to be verbally attacked whe I posted this thread...lol
I've been reamed in here all afternoon...lol
| Drug Use in Nova Scotia Posted: 12/20/2005 6:17:59 PM | ahhh...stop yer damn cryin' and post something else we can gab about!
(not reaming....just teasing)
| Drug Use in Nova Scotia Posted: 12/20/2005 6:56:16 PM | How about the fact that Christmass trees would look so much better if they were blue instead of green! And if you don't agree it must be because you are unwholesome | |
| Drug Use in Nova Scotia Posted: 12/20/2005 7:50:22 PM | | My only comment would be - why are girls held to different standards then men? | |
| |
| Drug Use in Nova Scotia Posted: 12/20/2005 8:04:51 PM | | There isn't a difference..I just can't say anything about the guys cause I don't look at their profiles to know how many of them admit to the use of drugs...it was all just an observation I voiced and it kinda went from there.. | |
