| the positive weight thing thread Posted: 4/6/2005 11:38:23 AM | I would hold more of what you say as sincere mike if you had the guts to put up a personal pic of course it is easy to say you are perfect while hiding behind your computer.Oh I have been ripped before in the last year I have continually lost almost 90 lbs.and while I was ripped I still loved BBW's. It is amasing what a car accident in which you can barely move and a low self esteem will do to weight gain.but it is comming off now so no worries bud. | |

I don't care for skinny men either...i like a good size man...makes me feel more feminine, and protected, and thus...more romantic....

| the positive weight thing thread Posted: 8/16/2005 10:25:13 AM | | I totally agree with you Cosmo. I met a man the other night who said he "might" need to lose 20 pounds, He looked like a "beached whale" 20 pounds, (he wishes), but perhaps he can learn to tell the truth in the future, and be truthful. that is all I ask. I don't care if someone is "overweight" that is superficial", but to not tell the truth about it is not truthful. | |

| the positive weight thing thread Posted: 8/16/2005 10:35:12 AM | | Smitten, good for your attidude. People who are not honest about their weight just turn me off bigtime. You are truly a babe, and see "inside" a person. | |

| the positive weight thing thread Posted: 8/16/2005 11:17:17 AM | Thanks for the thread Cosmo; I know i'm healthy, overweight, bbw, thick, what ever somwone chooses to call it, but i also take good care of myself. I have an outgoing personality and I'm a very outspoken person, i don't care what others think. If they don't like what they see they can turn their heads; nobody is making them look. Thank God we are all different shapes and sizes, it would be a boring world if we were all the same.
I have a body of a Godess; i just protect it with an outer layer.
Some women have an hour glass figure; i have a 24 hour glass figure.
I'm comfortable in my skin and that's all that matters. Thanks again for the thread!!

| the positive weight thing thread Posted: 11/19/2008 6:04:52 PM | | I think it is a great thing when people are Honest. I personally like Thick Curvy Voluptuous women Just be Honest! Were gonna find out if we go on a date! Im sure guys do it too but In my experience women are very decieving when it comes to their size. Usually you can assume that whatever she puts is minimalized. Beware of the headshot! A girl with 8 pictures of her head and cleavage is hiding something LOL. Trick photography ! I thought the camera added 20 lbs but they must have some good cameras these days cause the pictures Ive seen latley take off 30 0r 40 LOL I agree with the above posting. I just wanted to add a little bit to it I hope I dont offend anyone Because that is not my intention. Im sure we have all experienced it. Im a big teddy bear kinda guy myself. | |

| the positive weight thing thread Posted: 11/20/2008 7:51:36 AM | | This is the way i see it...I'm fat, have been for majority of my life. Teen years was hell but since i'm out of highschool things are far different. I'm not that shy fat girl that used to cry in the corner cause someone had something bad to say. What I have learned from being fat and meeting people is this.... Most of the time, the person who is "attacking" your weight sees a part of them in you and it scares the hell out of them or they are jealous of your confidence. So if they make you feel bad , then they don't have the issue. I was single for 9 years before meeting someone, who ended up being a total disaster. That lasted a few months and i been single agian for 6 months or more. I'm fine with it. I would like to have someone but I'm not going to lower my standards or think well this is the best i can do for a fat girl. Screw that! I rather be single and confident than with someone and downbeatted. | |

| the positive weight thing thread Posted: 11/20/2008 1:01:36 PM | Oh, sweet Tim Horton's-what does any of this matter when you have fallen in love? Sure-morbidly obese=problems for both, but being chubby-how does that destroy a relationship??? Yikes!! | |
|
| the positive weight thing thread Posted: 11/20/2008 1:51:27 PM | | It's nice to see a thread like this. No one wants to be fat but some people just are. I am fat, I can admit it but there is more to me than how much flesh I carry on me. I am intelligent, confident, pretty, humorous, fun to be around and a whole lot of other adjectives that define me besides fat. If you are not attracted to me than you are not, chances are I am not attracted to you either. Great, no problem - move along. I get annoyed though when people tell me I need to look a certain way or men won't like me. This is not true, men do like me. So stand tall ladies, who cares what other people think, love yourself first and others will love you as well. | |

| the positive weight thing thread Posted: 11/20/2008 2:14:51 PM | Great OP -- this is a wonderful subject.
Here's a little well-known fact by only a few people "fat haters" are really "secret fatties" -- meaning that they either have a masked eating addiction or some other addiction that they're hiding. They project their faults on the other person.
Anyone who is worth their salt would not begrudge a wonderful, kind loving person a couple of pounds!
Beauty shines from the inside out and people who give heavy people a hard time are ugly people, ugly on the inside, because of their actions.

| the positive weight thing thread Posted: 11/20/2008 7:54:53 PM | | Weight - it may be one's fate, and another's asset. No matter what age, size, color, sex, or height, etc. we are. The most positive gift we can give ourselves as well as others is to be comfortable in our own skin. | |
