SunDown -- thanks for that prayer. I'm touched by your simple gesture.

It's better late than never...

Reporting for duty!!! Yes, I'm a Christian.

By God's grace, I'm doing my best to walk in righteousness for I believe, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me..."

[Anyone on here also a christian....I haven't found many other christians or christian guys on this site.]
I am one of you ane you are all one of me as it should be. If you read some of the posts in the forums you will find several Christain people in debate with others that would have us silenced or to just disappear off the face of the earth. Glad to know that I am not alone. @aaaaand, some of us are not as young as we appear.

...that's reassuring...we older warriors need a soundboard and companion on occasion!...and yes, debates abound...difficult to sit with keyboard in neutral when someone shakes your tree...

Pretty much, but I have some pretty staunch standards about saying that about others. The substance bit anyway.

Hey welcome back Loukus!!

I am a christian, because that is what society has branded me as for my beliefs. In all reality I am a God fearing woman. Spirituality

Thanks, I don't know how long I'll stick around though. Present company excluded, the general board populous is less than... germane

Being so quixotic, I left before because in any philosphical/political discussion I was simply dismissed as being young, when the opposing sides could not handle the arguements, and I suspect the outcome would be the same now, as then.

I really hope you'll reconsider...I'm sure whatever you have to add to the mix won't be dismissed...I know any age reference I inferred was meant more on a personal relationship level...not in any way meant to invalidate any opinion, be it from someone 8 or 80...

Mm. Even so, this entire site sort of... doesn't hold any meaning for me.

Even in the broad spectrum of the internet, it's difficult to find someone willing to wait for marraige vows before kissing. So, the dating thing passed me by a long time ago, and I'm just waiting in Yahweh, as best I can.

...totally understand and respect your position...and it can be difficult when the venue isn't suited to your wants, needs, or comfort level...but it can be a useful medium to connect with people who share your or similar inspirational views, gotta someone out there!...I've not been onboard long and I feel I've happened upon some pretty terriffic and faith grounded people...I guess when you don't expect or seek anything more than friendship, it lightens the load...I myself am committed not to be unequally yoked and seek close friendships with those of similar beliefs...it's just soooo much less stressful that way and common interests usually run along the same path anyway...if it's feeling hollow to you, than it probably is...your beloved will happen upon you as and when God sees fit and her values will be lined up with yours...can't go wrong by sticking to God's program...blessings to you...

That could mean a lot of different things, depending on the context.

I don't go to church, mostly because there's a lack of decent churches in my area, and a lot of people would say that makes me "not religous", though I can't say that I agree.

"Religous" is also a bad thing to say about someone in some Christian Circles, as in, preoccupied with form and/or the old law, rather than following God.

You could very well be onto something there, my friend. There is an honor in "not arousing love before it so desires." You say you're "waiting in Yahweh?" I say, "Good man." God very likely has someone particular in mind for you. A little faith goes a long ways.

You're cool. You know, a large number of Athiests are the product of Catholic upbringing.

Not that I'm particularily against Catholics, my favorite politician is one, and one of my favorite film-makers is one... but there are some serious issues that are manifesting themselves there. The restoration of the Catholic church will probably be serious marker in the days to come.

Anyway, if anyone wants a denomination to stamp on my relationship with God, it would be Charismatic. Fitting, eh?
