I really could care less.
My needs are simple, just would like to meet someone that does not have me looking for a spool of dental floss to hang myself after spending 72 hours together.

| younger man older woman??? Posted: 2/24/2009 11:47:57 AM | I always say "quality over quantity"...
Age is meaningless to me. I look for substance, between the ears and the heart area. More years does not guarnatee anything... I've met some more mature men who were quite immature and some much younger who were really with it. One of the best , most heartwarming and memorable realtionships I've had was with a man 15 years younger than me. When he approched me I started to laugh and thought it was ridiculous...but once I let my old guard and stigma down, and got to know him I surprised myself. It was a real gift. Based on that experience I'd do it again!
Mmm-mm a younger man, with lots of energy, a fresh outlook, mature in his thinking, and a loving nature....It doesn't get better than that.
IN life, quality over quantity (in everthing), is my motto...and so is: "life is uncertain, eat your dessert first!"

I'm tremendously disappointed now.
I just want that all-around comfort in being together no matter what you're doing or not doing, no matter where you are ... no arguing, no conflict, no criticism, lots of sarcastic wit & laughter, lots of mush & snuggles ... & wine gums, lots & lots of wine gums to snack on. Have dated younger guys (mid-late 30's) & older guys (mid to late 50's) but find the most compatibility with those around my own age.

anxiously waiting to hear about the sex & you didn't mention it at all. suppose the difference between good and poor taste or style is the laundry one hangs to dry. Some may delicately flaunt a hankie, while others need to hang their undies inside out.

Some may delicately flaunt a hankie, while others need to hang their undies inside out. - ML Since hankies are somewhat of a thing of the past & I haven't seen one in several decades, I guess I'll have to go with the undies.
Hold on a sec while I get that knot out of my knickers .....

| younger man older woman??? Posted: 2/27/2009 8:46:53 PM | The older women I've been with never really wanted anything "long-term" They were like kittens with a toy. They'd smack me around a bit every now and then until something new came across I think that a serious relationship can come from two people regardless of age, so long as they share similarities. Whether it be goals or interests or whatever. Nothing is impossible these days. Some people just view an older woman with a younger man as taboo or whatnot. But it all comes down to the chemistry between the individuals. | |

Cries) Meeeooow ..... *searching for her toy*

Does that thing require a car battery, or do you hafta kickstart that thing?
(the "Chicken Lady" sketch from Kids in the Hall comes to mind, where she's riding the little mechanical horse in the mall)

| younger man older woman??? Posted: 3/1/2009 9:18:52 PM | | Who really cares what other people think? As long as it works for you and you're both happy isn't that what really matters? | |
|
| younger man older woman??? Posted: 3/2/2009 2:03:35 PM | As long as everyone is an adult, over 18, it should not be an issue. But it does depend on what you are looking for and what the other person is looking for, if compatible, great.
My first husband was 3 years older, not a lot of fun to be with soon after we married. My second husband is 11 years younger, EVERYTHING is Soooo much better! I've learned a lot. LOL.
|
| younger man older woman??? Posted: 3/9/2009 8:30:51 PM | | I don't think I'd ever be into dating someone a lot younger than me (up to 5 years younger is OK), but my Mom was. She married a much younger man so my stepdad is only 9 years older than me. That was definitely weird when I was a teenager. I briefly dated an older man and felt weird all over again whenever I thought about the fact that he was older than my stepdad. | |
|
| younger man older woman??? Posted: 3/10/2009 5:32:29 PM | age is but a number if two pwoplw hit it off together, I think it would be stupid of either to call it off because of teh age difference. True! A lot of older/younger relationships are usually only for a fling. My grand-dad was 20 years older than my grandma, and they were together til his death. I guess there's just too much of a stigma on older women who date younger men/older men dating younger women. But if the two of you feel a connection, screw what anyone else says or thinks!!! | |

| younger man older woman??? Posted: 3/10/2009 7:14:06 PM | | Nothing annoys me more then making connection with a woman and her having a mental hang up on age. HATE IT! It's dum and stoopid! Might as well just send them back to the kitchen if thats the way the want to think!! | |
