The OP is here and wow that was quite the game I had a feeling we would win big tonight after that quiet game the other nite!
The rest of the world has to face it Canada is the best hockey country in the world by far!!
The Leafs have a bright future too with the stellar play by Pogge!
Thanks to all for helping me cheer on our team this year and I am looking forward to the Olympics in Italy! So stay tuned for that thread!
Nicole dont worry the leafs will win this year they are on a roll now and will keep it going!
So until the Olympics start in a month we are all divided lol

Posted: 12/25/2006 9:27:56 PM | Well hockey fans we are just about 12 hours away until Team Canada takes to the ice against the host country Sweeden for the 2007 world junior championships!
A remember i did this thread from last year so bumping it up so we can talk about it and join together in cheering on team Canada in the quest for another Gold!
Pay attention to some of the names on the team as they will become NHL superstars someday soon!
Boxing day is my favorite time of year as this is the start of some great hockey! Whats even cool is that we are all cheering on the same team lol
the 1st Game is on TSN at 12:30 pm later on today!
So please join me throuhout the tourney this year as we will show once again Canada is the best at hockey!

Posted: 12/26/2006 12:25:50 PM | Wow what a great start to the Tournament with another shutout win beating the host Sweeden 2-0!
Thought that Canada may put a few more goals on the board but I am sure they will get better as the tourney goes on. Sweeden gave them a test and came close to getting a couple goals there but Price shut the door and played a solid game today!
Toews and of course Staal played well and will be players to watch as well the rest of the team!
Couple of upsets in other games as Germany defeated the USA and Belarus over Finland!
The battle of North America begins tomorrow as Canada faces off against USA.
game starts at 1 pm eastern and TSN has all the action!
With the way the leafs have been playing of late its nice to know we can count on Canada to win lol

I guess the game isnt on until 1:30 as it looks like the pregame show is on now lol
The cool thing about this years tourney is you can watch the game through TSN's website while your at work!
Going to try it today see if it works lol

Posted: 12/27/2006 4:29:43 PM | and well we sure kicked butt today with a 6-3 win over the USA! The Blackhawks sure have something to look forward too with the signing of Toews who was the big star for Canada!
USA did make it close in the 2nd by scoring a couple to make it 3-2 in the end Canada showed who the boss is lol.
Had a feeling it was going to be a high scoring game as with every game vs the usa its always a treat to watch!
Germany is looking good so far and we face them on Friday!
Feel free to make a post and let me know your thoughts on Team Canada this year!
I am sure there is more POFers that have been watching the games! let me know who you are lol
Think we got a good shot for another gold this year?

just "you" lol yes I sure am and i have thought about starting a thread on tonsil hockey as that is my favorite kind of hockey  
well folks team canada is back on the ice today to face Germany who surprsingly is doing well this year! I got a little bit of a German background so i am happy to see that they are getting better at hockey there! Still though Im with Canada all the way
Should be a good matchup today although Id love to see a lopsided win for Canada but it may be closer thank you think the way Germany has played so far.
Pyatt is another player to watch on Canada as he works hard out on the ice and can score! I agree that this years team isnt as strong without having Crosby in there obviously but still a great chance to get another gold!
Not sure if anyone has tried to watch the game through TSN's website but i cant get it to work. Get these scrpit errors lol. Great idea for those at work and can watch it right from their desk lol. Canadians love hockey so you gotta do what you can to watch lol

Loveeeeeeeeeee my hockey.
One of our Guelph Storm boys is over there.....Ryan Parent wearing #4 and we sure missed him in our game last night against Oshawa.

Well great news as we defeated the Germans 3-1 and advance to the semi-finals! Im not surprised
I didnt see the entire game today but you can defintely see the confidence building. Germany though did play pretty well but Canada deserved the win today.
Canada can go undefeated in the round robin with a win on Sunday againt Slovakia.
The way things are going so far it should be an easy task!
Gonna have to set my vcr or go to bed early the night before as the game starts at 6:30 am lol
