Posted: 9/10/2009 3:18:59 PM | Back in the good old days of the cold war, I was in an intelligence trade in the navy, where I learned to speak Russian. I got out after a few years to go to university, where I got an honours degree in Soviet & East European Studies.
Admiral Sergei Gorshkov was the architect of the Soviet Navy. So, Gorshkov I became, and Gorshkov I've been, everywhere on the internet, since about 1984 or so. | |

Posted: 9/10/2009 3:28:09 PM | It's from the song Alley-oop by the hollywood argyls. 16 years ago my aunts gf then began calling me that, we're still friends. The song is good too.

Alli oop .... I have been accused of many, many things during the course of my life - I've been guilty of some, not so guilty of others. But this is the first time I've ever been accused of being cool :-) | |

Posted: 9/12/2009 4:25:34 PM | I chose my CB handle. It's kind-of a nic-name anyway. It was simple, couldn't really be mixed up for something gross or bad, and it says a lot about who I am!
That, and there are a lot of people out there that know me by it. Once in a while, the online-world and what seems to be reality bump into each other...

Posted: 9/12/2009 4:26:54 PM | My initials and my year of birth. "B1GPNS4u" just didn't seem "serious" enough for me. 
Other SN's of mine on other, more specialized forums:
N/Apower: My love of naturally aspirated engines. I love a mean cam! Used on numerous forums.
12_gauge: I was 18 when I picked it and have been on that forum for 5 years and have an EXCELLENT rep so I leave it alone as I don't want my +1's in the sales section to be lost.
BlackWS6: Color/trim level of my vehicle, you guessed it, racing forum.
Several others, but they are just variations of the above.
