Posted: 9/16/2006 9:25:00 PM | From what I've managed to gather, if the sex really isn't that great (regardless as to who's at fault), it's generally due to miscommunication, or lack of communication.
People afraid to mention what they like because they're afraid it'll turn their partner off.
People who handle even polite suggestion as a complete insult and refuse to change or at least attempt to try.
The most satisfied couples I've known also had the most open communication between them, AND they were willing to try to make things work.
I'd like to think I'm at least pretty decent at "reading" some body language and signs, but I can't read a person's mind. And if I don't know, how the hell am I supposed to fix anything?
As for HOW to tell someone? Well, one thing that worked for me, is make subtle changes sound like a fantasy of sorts that you'd like to experience, as opposed to just blurting out criticisms... | |

you need to make them feel comfortable around you so they can open up and tell or show you whatever they feel like. i would suggest you do something warm and romantic like a bit of wine, candles and a bubble bath/shower just to make sure everything is nice, fresh and edible. get out the lotion etc. and give them a nice massage, make sure you ask while rubbing what or where they would like to be rubbed, tell them what you like as well. (trade off) -you want your massage too. once your ready to get down to business, dont hesitate to tell them to slow down/speed up, or try things that you enjoy or what they would like.
