| How do I hide my profile when posting in the forums?
Posted: 12/20/2006 8:43:32 PM | "Once a "member" logs into their inbox, then all bets are off, and clicking on View Profile in the forums will still take you to their profile."
This clears up the mystery of how people can send me emails and put me on their friends list while my profile supposedly is hidden. Thanks. I get it, now. | |

when setting your account to invisible
If you are only logged into the forums and NOT logged into your POF mail account
--> you will not see someone's profile by simply clicking on the profile here in the forums.
If you are however, logged into your mail account as well as the forums
--> then you will see their profile
If you are just a user of the dating site (and not a "forum-ite"), then you won't be able to find someone invisible in a search.
