| If you had God in the room with you... Posted: 4/15/2006 10:48:27 AM | Asking for forgiveness is a good thing. But know this: you have already been forgiven. It was accomplished by Jesus dieing on the cross for all of our shame and sin.

| If you had God in the room with you... Posted: 4/15/2006 11:20:51 AM | God will forgive if you repent your sins. I have found that some think that they can sin>>repent and all is okay. Sinning is about intention, I don't think sinning has to be always in the physical form. It can also be in thought with no action. Greed, Lust, jealousy are all sins does God really forgive without the repention aspect ? Does he forgive when you continuosly make the same sins over and over again. That's like saying Jeffrey Daumer if he repented after every cannabilism, rape and murder he committed, God forgave him ?? I find that hard to believe. What if Jesus died on the cross and all human sin was absolved that occured before he died on the cross not future sin ? Why are we born with sin and need to be baptized if all sin is forgiven ? How does a baby commit sin by being born ? Smoochie | |

Posted: 4/15/2006 4:36:14 PM | I've been up, I've been down I've been lonesome, in this godless town You're my religion, you're my church You're the holy grail at the end of my search Have I been down on my knees for long enough? I've been searching the planet to find Sacred love
The spirit moves on the water SHE takes the shape of this heavenly daughter SHE's rising up like a river in flood The word got made into flesh and blood The sky grew dark, and the Earth SHE shook --Sacred Love
We said, "Tell me all your thoughts on God? 'cause I would really like to meet HER. And ask HER why we’re who we are." --Counting Blue Cars

| If you had God in the room with you... Posted: 4/15/2006 10:54:07 PM | ohdriver said: "He/She is in the room. My question is "can I get You anything?" I think that is a Great question. I'd think your question, ohdriver, is quite a respectful 'thank you' on its own merit. That question alone, I'd think, gives lots. | |

| If you had God in the room with you... Posted: 4/16/2006 1:16:50 PM | squeak365; I ask God that question too! Some times men and women are so different they don't understand each other. All the self help videos out there do try to help men and women to understand each other better but it doesn't always help. Example: Women are from venus Men are from mars. If anyone has any suggestions I would like to hear them! | |

RE: “Way too religious... for my taste” God want spiritual fruits, not religious nuts.
RE: Skinny? You DON’T really want that… I’m telling you the truth.
RE: Screwed? Unless you commit crimes against humanity, you’ve got time to work out whatever you did/didn’t do. Forgive is certainly in the vocab.
RE: “God is always in the room with you”
"Relax child, you were there But only didn’t realize it and you were scared It’s a place where you will learn To face your fears, retrace the tears And ride the whims of your mind Commanding in another world Suddenly, you hear and see This magic new dimension.
I-will be watching over you I-am gonna help you see it through I-will protect you in the night I-am smiling next to you...in silent lucidity
If you open your mind for me You won’t rely on open eyes to see" –Queensryche

| If you had God in the room with you... Posted: 10/27/2007 6:42:35 AM | I tried to think up something cool to write, or something funny but after reading
sir.. when can your servent come home.. PLEASE.. I thought of how often Ive begged, in tears, some from joy, others in pain, to go home...how sweet to hear that you have been to that concert as well, Jimi... I wonder how our pleas of a homecoming fall on His ears?? I can only begin to guess but I think that it may please Him that we are not comfortable here..not content out of His presense...and the fact that you and I have desperately pleaded to our Father to let us go to a place we have never seen while willingly discarding what life we have here, is truly breathtaking.

| If you had God in the room with you... Posted: 10/27/2007 1:35:46 PM | Thing is, the bugger never leaves... I'm at the point now that if I want anything meaningful out of the conversation, something new has to happen. | |

| If you had God in the room with you... Posted: 10/27/2007 3:17:28 PM | May I please get Baptised in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues, as described in the book of Acts, and have the ability to heal, gifts of faith, prophecy, and to lose any desire towards the world and have my total desire towards Him. For some reason, my environment is full of distractions and I feel a bit spiritually oppressed and feel I'm missing out on a lot of things that God has in store for me spiritually but seemed to have fallen short of where I should be. Would be a great opportunity to set things straight in that scenerio.
But the reality is, God is omnipresent, so technically, if He's everywhere at the same time, then He is supposed to be in the room now, or in everyone's room simultanously (while having an ear or personality for each single human being at the same time).

| If you had God in the room with you... Posted: 10/28/2007 8:41:39 AM | Depends on which god was in the room with me... I mean.. I am polythestic so.. yeah. It depends..
I think though the question would be "mead or ale?" for me!
