| Re: Titties: real or fake? Posted: 6/28/2004 1:12:48 PM | What do I mean by health? Well...
http://www.med.umich.edu/1libr/wha/wha_mamaug_crs.htm
(Selected quotes)
"You may not be able to breast-feed an infant after this operation."
"You get the best results from this surgery if you are in your 20s or 30s and have small but not sagging breasts."
(another point in favor of my comments, although not necessarily health related.)
"For the next 2 or 3 weeks, you may have some swelling and your breasts may be bruised and tender."
"It may take 2 or 3 months for your body to heal fully."
" * There are some risks associated with anesthesia. Discuss these risks with your doctor. * You may develop a hematoma, which is a collection of blood or a blood clot from a leak in a blood vessel that may form within hours after surgery in the pocket where the implant has been placed. This may cause swelling, pain, and bruising. A large hematoma may need to be drained surgically. * An implant may harden and be painful. * Your breasts may be hard or lumpy. * Your breasts may feel too firm. * Your breasts may bleed or become infected around the implant. * Your nipples and areolas may be numb. * Your breasts may be unequal in size, shape, position, or contour. You may want further surgery on one or both of the breasts to try to make them similar. * Your breasts may droop. * A capsule may form around the implant. That area may become firm or tender and need regular massage or additional surgery. * Your arm and shoulder movements may be restricted or painful. * An implant may rupture or deflate, which may require another surgical procedure to remove the implant."
"Call the doctor immediately if:
* The skin over the breast becomes irritated or starts to peel off. * You have redness or unusual drainage from the cuts. * You develop a fever or unexpected pain."

|
| Re: Titties: real or fake? Posted: 6/28/2004 1:33:23 PM | | those women having these surgeries are looking for self-confidence in the wrong places. they have too many issues and are themselves a complication to their own body. | |

| Re: Titties: real or fake? Posted: 6/28/2004 1:44:41 PM | my friend was a A very nice body but she didnt like her boobs. She went and got them done..and is now a full c . it cost her about the same as a used car. Anout 7 to 9 grand. She has monthly payments. I tried to talk her out of it.
She couldt move shower raise her arms drive lay down for weeks. i saw her after a few weeks and it was shocking. They stuck out like water wings on your chest. What a difference.
having them done put her into debt...and although she had them done a few years ago maybe 2.. she has to get them redone in 5 to 10 yrs.
she also wants kids too...she loves them...but i breastfed 2 kids for a year each. That is such a huge thing to give up. Its such a bonding experince and so life giving to the baby.
i think its very vain... if your smart..go to a special bra store and see a bra expert. They will outfit you with the best for what you need. If you have the right one...perhaps i ntime your breasts wont sag so badly. It bad supprt that does it to us...and childbirth.

| Re: Titties: real or fake? Posted: 6/28/2004 2:25:51 PM | Alura is right on on that one... There have been so many studies that say "women don't know how to choose the right bra and/or don't know how to properly fit one" it's scary...

Honestly boobs taht are a little saggy are the softest and most fun to play with. Who gives a dman that they don't look quit as good...they have it where it counts. Besides....anyting can look great in the miracles of modern technology known as pushup bras.

| Re: Titties: real or fake? Posted: 6/28/2004 5:54:45 PM | Wow, I read each comment on this topic and I have to say that I'm pretty much impressed with how many prefer real. I live in Calgary, Silicon Valley North, and pretty much every women here have fake. I personally have 2 friends who had them done and showed me the results. I agree with those who say, "don't go too big and keep them looking natural". One of my friends is a body builder and had them done twice to enlarge them. Way too fake looking in my opinion. I dated two girls with fake boobs and one I dated just prior to her having them done. She did only have them done because she was real concious about them and even when we first had sex, she hid her chest with her arms. Now she looks great in her clothes and after about a year they mellow out and look better. What I don't like about fake boobs is the sack always shows as wrinkles through the sides when kneeling over. I also don't like the feel of them either. They really feel fake. So in my preference I prefer real to fake anytime. I don't mind if they sag a little either. I can say that those that I know who had them done have changed personality too. Not only more confident but a little more extroverted. I prefered their old self to be honest. Women are always trying to improve themselves for men and if this is the reason you are having them done then don't. If you do decide to have them done, make sure it's Saline and do it for yourself not anyone else.
Thanks for reading my opinion. Rob.

| Re: Titties: real or fake? Posted: 6/29/2004 6:59:35 AM | | Real. Just Real. And they don't have to be great throbbing cassabas, either. I will always enjoy a well shaped, small tittie, over a great monsterous glob that just gets in the way. You just need enough to hold on to so you don't slip off!!! | |

the only only excepsoin i would convey is women who had a masectomy. Or a woman who was born with one very tiny and one normal..to even them out. both are not vain...to look sexy its to feel and look like a woman again.

| Re: Titties: real or fake? Posted: 6/29/2004 11:44:02 AM | I don't like the fake ones that are as big as a basket ball and hard as one too. I've seen (and felt) fake ones that were outstanding though. I guess you get what you pay for. Real ones are nice, but if they are super small, sagging, flat, or look like a ball that's had it's air let out, I'll take the fake ones over them any day. | |
