| Brazillian wax? Posted: 8/28/2006 10:02:22 PM | I shave it down there and that's about it...
Honestly, I will only do the brazilian wax if my partner will do the same to his
So in the meantime, I am not going to subject my delicate parts to such torture!!! %#$%!

| Brazillian wax? Posted: 8/29/2006 5:10:34 AM | | Has anyone tried an electric razor? I actually use it on myself and I find, once you learn the trick, it works great. The key is to take advantage of the trimmer and get as close to the surface as is possible. Since we guys pubic area is VERY sensitive and I seem to be doing fine with it, give it a whirl ladies! I'm happy to help :) | |

| Brazillian wax? Posted: 8/29/2006 7:37:58 AM | I use a wet / dry electric razor and finish up with a Sensor Excel. This keeps me from getting ingrown hairs or nicks. I always take a hot bath first. I also recommend using a shave gel with vitamin E or one for sensative skin. As with all things, practice makes perfect.
Would love to get laser treatments, but cannot afford them at this time.
Yes, men love it, but I love it more. Things are just more sensative.

| Brazillian wax? Posted: 8/29/2006 7:42:25 AM | | I cannot believe how ignorant some of you are. Is it any wonder innocent men get accused of harassment etc with the type of alarmist, ignorant little girls on here with their "pedophilia" nonsense. Idiots. | |
|
| Brazillian wax? Posted: 8/29/2006 9:23:42 AM | | Go with waxing. It may hurt for a couple of days but you don't get the rash and ingrown hairs that you do from shaving. | |

| Brazillian wax? Posted: 8/29/2006 9:28:43 AM | Yes arri you are absolutely right once again. Very well educated on that strip..lol.. | |

Amen brother! You couldn't have hit the nail any better, that was perfectly said!

| Brazillian wax? Posted: 8/29/2006 12:13:52 PM | [Actaully shaving your pubic hairs (for a women) does remind 'some' men of a younger, if not little girl. Therefore it does have something to do with being a pedo! Sounds weird, yet true! the thoughts of some people are not always the same as yours. But for some men, having a little girl is one of their fantasies, so one of the closest things they can, or will do, is to have a women clean shaven. Not saying its a bad thing to do, as i do shave myself, just to some men its more then that!]
[Peep, it is a "style" right now fostered by the porn industry. You are 42, according to your 'file. Leave the painful, awkward and pedophilic "little girl" look to the 20s women, and their boyfriends who do not appreciate what a mature woman is supposed to look like]
Oh dear me!! how can people be so ignorant!! That is the most ridiculous thing ive ever heard!!!! How you can say men liking clean shaven on a woman is pedophilic! i just dont understand!!
So just because i dont have a massive bush poking out the side of my panties!! Im a little girl and any man that likes the fact im clean down there! is a pedo lmao what a load of shite!!! haha cracks me up!
so wow i must be a pedo cos ive been with guys who have also shaved completely down there!! LMAO!! absolute nonscence!! Makes me laugh how dumb some people are!!
one word: HYGIENIC | |

| Brazillian wax? Posted: 8/29/2006 6:26:27 PM | | you know you are not the only one that has happend to. However much to my dismay, my hotwater tank stopped working in the middle of all of this , and I lost patches of hair, I went to a salon to see if the could wax the rest off. Well after they stopped laughing they said they could not fix, I had to wait for the bald patches to fill in. after a couple of weeks the bald spots filled in, I did get full wax done, much to my embarrasment !!!:))) | |

ROTFLMAO!!!! OMG ~ and I thought I'd read it all here on POF. I have heard this before and it humors me just as much reading it as hearing it. If there is a man out there who does not know the difference between a little girl and a grown women, shaving the chia pet isn't what I'd be worried about (I would seriously wonder WTH instigates a grown man thinking it even remotely resembles a pre-pubescent girl.) That is simply the silliest thing I've read for a long time.
And being 42, I can assure you ~ I've yet to hear a complaint about the fact I'm a hair-removal junkie. Likewise, I appreciate the same from the man in my life. I have yet to confuse any of them with a little boy.

| Brazillian wax? Posted: 8/29/2006 6:48:31 PM | Just laser it
$150 a session, maybe 4 or 5 sessions, get them to do the underarms at no charge and no more floss and razor burn.
|
| Brazillian wax? Posted: 8/30/2006 7:41:50 AM | | I do the brazilllian and don't mind it at all. After you go a few times its not as painful for some reason. Ive been told by some men that they would rather have a strip left as they feel like a pedophile...you would think the rest of the womans body would make them think otherwise lol | |
|
| Brazillian wax? Posted: 8/30/2006 7:55:49 AM | And you can always get a merkin if you change your mind...
(thank goodness there are still men out there who appreciate a nice trim clean bush.)
|
| Brazillian wax? Posted: 8/30/2006 8:11:16 AM | my way of explaining why i do it/why others should shave also...
would you rather get a massage through a thick wool sweater or skin on skin? it just feels that much better when the whole area is available to feel the sensations.
|
| Brazillian wax? Posted: 8/30/2006 8:51:25 AM | Please people don't get it waxed, get it sugared! It's definitely not as painful since the sugar doesn't remove the first layer of epidermis as wax does!
Terms used around where I live...
LA = Lips and A$$ (meaning everything is gone! Front and back!) BA = Balls and A$$ (meaning everything is gone on the guy! Front and back) Brazilian = Leave the lips alone
Never heard the term French... hmmm.
Personally, I dislike the hairless look, makes me feel like I look like a little girl. Not my cup of tea.

| Brazillian wax? Posted: 8/30/2006 8:59:50 AM | Some people just don't like hair. I have been shaving since it started growing. I've played sports most of my life and the added sweat that I started having when I was a teen was enough to shave. I trim the hair on all of my body. Men should know they will sweat less if they even just trim their armpits. Though it has become a "Style" and is a main staple for the "Metrosexual" men in our new society that is constaintly changing I simply don't like hair enough to have it all over my body. There is the theory with some men who say "Shaving makes it look bigger." Well that's a personal problem I'm happy not to have. For some poeple hair is just unattractive. I dated a girl who was 23 and a virgin, I was 25. I thought it was awesome that I'd actually find a virgin girl at all. Well, she wouldn't shave and unfortunately I just couldn't handle it. Some people just don't like hair. | |

| Brazillian wax? Posted: 9/3/2006 6:06:35 PM | Just to get everyone out there laughing a little more I will tell you the tale of my Brazilian experience. Shortly after the craze really took off (who ever thought there would be a pubic hair craze) I decided to go and get waxed. Now I will be the first to admit I'm a shaver and have been since hair started growing down there so I thought this may have been a better option......WRONG!!!!!!
Not only is the entire experience a little weird but after all is said and done the lady asked if I would like to have a jewel put on. I asked what this meant and she said that a lot of women are getting their hair shaped in different designs or they are putting little crystals on in place of the hair! (Think Christmas tree, heart or even B/F initials)
Being swollen and red down there I assumed crystals in the shape of a heart would make it a little more appealing WRONG AGAIN!!!!!!!!!
Decided after all the trauma and hysterical laughter I would go shopping; somewhere between shoe stores I started feeling something weird going on in my pants (A BAD KIND OF WEIRD FEELING) as I look down I notice a damn trail of crystals that had "fallen off" and made their way down my pant leg.
Moral of the story.........I don't think there is one; it's just a damn funny story!

| Brazillian wax? Posted: 9/3/2006 7:24:15 PM | I Don't think there's enough money in the world that could convince me to get a Brazlian done. None. I'm a shaver myself and recently jumped on that particular bandwagon. I'm so totally pleased with shaving! I mean, all you need is lots of water, a goos sharp razor, and some shaving cream. Take your time and be gentle with it all. Slow and steady is the way to get it done best. I've never nicked myself once, and I do get it really nice and smooth. And, it looks totally hot! | |
|
| Brazillian wax? Posted: 9/3/2006 7:41:43 PM | Ya know what gets me is no matter how I shave it or how often, by day three I'm itching like a Muther Fawker, picky and all sore, red spots. I can't take it and don't suggest shaving again. There is no way I can get a razor near it.
I do the hot bath before thing. I use the Vit. E shaving lotion. I do the lotion afterward. Nothing helps.
So I get 48 hours of great sex.....hahahaha......then two days of torture. HELP !!
There has got to be a better way. But I can't see me spreading my legs to have it waxed or lasered.
|
| Brazillian wax? Posted: 9/3/2006 7:44:52 PM | | A crushed up tylenol in warm water will get rid of any red bumps..........ummmm any red bumps caused by shaving I mean | |
|
| Brazillian wax? Posted: 9/3/2006 8:11:01 PM | | whether you're shaving or waxing...i recommend a little product called Bikinizone applied immediately afterwards. it prevents ingrowns, bumps, etc...and numbs any pain. you can pick up a tube at the drugstore for under $10. It makes all the difference in the world! | |
|
| Brazillian wax? Posted: 9/4/2006 5:29:24 AM | | I like the cleanliness of it, and I love the feel of it and the sensitivity. I also shave and trim (started when I was riding rodeo and had to tape cup in place ... that is one way to get rid of hair .. pulling tape off). Its clean and I like clean. | |

| Brazillian wax? Posted: 9/4/2006 10:02:21 AM | | I own a Medical Spa! A Brazillian is complete Removal from front to back. We do Laser and although it lasts a long time some lasers are certified Permanant Removal and some are clasified for permanant reduction. You should ask for what the companys going to do if it grows back in a year. But again Brazilian is a complete removal from the pubic area front and back. Some girls get creative and bring cookie cutters and we laser around them for a nice patten on the pubic bone. | |
