| Boob shots in Main Pic? WHY?

They want to remain anonymous yet at the same time prove that they are a female. What better way to prove that you are a female than to show a little cleavage? Maybe if so many men didn't pretend they were females...Perhaps that could be a topic starter.

Posted: 2/14/2007 7:49:11 PM | Showing breasts is a sign of you being female? Showing breasts doesn't prove you are a woman. Staying anonymous can be done without showing your breasts. In order for a man to prove he is a he, the man should then show his package? Doesn't make sense.
No one should have to PROVE they are male or female. As for those who crate fake profile, it happens on this medium all the time. Shouldn't happen but the internet gives people the ability to be who they want to be or at least portray who they want to be. Just read a profile over and interact with the person with a little caution and look for signs of deceit befoer you fall too head over heals for the person. | |

Me personally... I know what I have to offer but i'd rather someone get to know me and like my WHOLE package and not just my 'girls'. I choose to NOT attract men with boob shots but instead my face which is my way of catching their attention. I have so much to offer a guy besides my breast... I have my mind, heart, strengths, etc. I know I have breast, men know I have breast.
I agree that many women are comfortable with their body and want to show it off but b*tching about getting nasty messages treating them like a piece of meat is ridiculous. You get what you put out!!! You want to be looked at in a sexual way, you will be treated in a sexual way. I don't want every man on this site to be able to look at my breast and never appreciate the rest of me.... only those I CHOOSE will be able to see my 'goods' hidden beneath my clothing.
I think in many ways the people who only choose to have body shots up are not being true. They are hiding so much other beauty within themselves and are taking the cheap route. I believe that you can tell a lot by a persons face. I personally would rather see a beautiful/handsome smile and dreamy eyes on someones profile instead of a rock hard body or the lumps on a womans chest. How can someone know if they are truly attracted to you if they can't even see your face? We all have to be physically attracted aswell as mentally attracted to someone. Your breast are such a small part of you... your face and personality are what holds your character. If only showing your breast... not many will be willing to see the rest of what you have to offer because you are not giving them any reason to think of you in any other way besides a sexual object.
I believe that women who show nothing but breast shots are really selling themselves short in many ways. They are NOT being original but instead look like every other woman on here who chooses to put up the same type of photos. | |

sweetsuzie - I don't see anything wrong with your pics. I consider them to be sexy and classy. They are not pictures of just your breast alone. Many of the women who choose to put up boob shots really don't leave much to the imagination at all. You are a very beautiful woman and you are showing your face in your pics so we can see that. You're right... it is how we present ourselves!! That's exactly what our points are... they are presenting themselves as sex objects. Many of us have enough confidence in ourselves in many other ways that we can be sexy without showing our bits and bites on the internet for the world to see.
So many women b*tch about men only contacting them for sex and feeling degraded but if they only show pics of the body part that catches men's attention in a sexual way then it's their own damn fault. The rest of us would rather demand respest and feel that we attracted these men with ALL of our beauty and not just with our chest.

And once again... those people who choose to have pics of their abs up alone without decent head shots of themselves are not showing all they have to offer. The trick then is to make the profile worded in such a way to filter out who you don't want sending you messages. I told her to put a code in the end of her profile, "use the word blue in your message"...that way she could tell immediately if they have actually read the profile. | |

I can't imagine putting it up on my profile personally, it just doesn't sit well with me. i put it up on my msn page for a few hours and it felt so strange and tacky that i had to take it off. for me, it isn't a shot that i want to put out there. And i have a solid appreciation for my girls, in fact, i think they are one of my better physical assets, but even saying that I can't do the cleavage shot. plus only my friends knew the joke/story behind that photograph whereas the rest of the world doesn't, which posed problems.
whatever suits you. i am sure cleavage shots and nothing else does tend to attract a variety more deragatory emails, although we all get them once in awhile regardless of what photo is up there.
If you're happy with your cleavage shot or package shot or any other body focused shot, i'm cool with it. doesn't mean i'll contact you but then you're probably not looking for someone like me. so it all works out in the end I imagine. | |

OMG they make me cringe, and NO, they definitely would not make me want to contact you. Now, I'm not saying I would dump a guy if I found out later that he had pierced nipples but I don't think it's something that needs advertising.
