Brightside, while I don't necessarily think cleavage is the best idea for the main pic, I think that comment is totally uncalled for, reeks of condensation and is degrading to women. Remember the saying, "if you've got it, flaunt it". There's no harm in that, as long as they can deal with some of the responses they may receive. They probably also receive some pretty nice responses as well. Not all men are pigs!!
I myself would not post a pic with cleavage because it is not my style, as well as the fact I don't have much cleavage to show.  But I certainly wouldn't belittle someone who chooses to post pictures of themselves with cleavage. | |

Sounds about right actually, I get very few people viewing my profile, none of them are people I have messged, nor would I message some of the creatures who do check out my profile and that is for my own personal reasons. I don't need to post half naked pictures of myself to convey what I look like, the human body is something we should leave to the imagination though in some ways, if I say I am athletic then yeah I am, just because I don't feel like taking off my shirt to prove that I am not some fat slob with man boobs doesn't make me a liar or change anything about me personally. | |

1) Complain that mostly jerks and horndogs respond to their profiles, while taking almost no responsibility in encouraging such feedback themselves.
2) Use the pics as a "test" to see how men will respond, and be disappointed when most only want sex and not willing to get to know the "The Real Me". Sorry ladies, but you put sexy, revealing "come hither" photos up, guess what, you'll get the responses you profess to hate in return. It's a self-fulfilling proposition. Don't bait the hook with sex and be surprised by the quality of the bites you get.
3) Defend their right to "show off their bodies", then criticize men for the same kinds of pics. No double standards allowed.
The above applies to men, too, obviously.
Of course, juvenile, idiotic men will respond no matter "what" some women put up simply because some ladies are just nice looking, and the crude will always show their stripes. It can't be avoided. But many women don't have to add fuel to the fire and encourage such behavior. | |

Juat like in this case if ladies post boob pics in their profile it is defintely going to attract pervs for sure.
I have met some ladies through here who do have some nice cleavage but also have a brain and are well educated.
I think for most we tend to look at the pics first and don't scroll down to see what they have to say.
It can be confusing when someone who has a well written profile and is very articulate but posts boob pics.
I'm really trying to look at the whole profile though and perhaps those boob pics are an indication of confidence. | |

Just because someone has great looks and intelligence doesn't automatically mean they couldn't be equally shallow, narcissistic and arrogant? They're not mutually exclusive? Some may even argue the traits go together, since I've observed most people are singularly unable to stay firmly grounded and avoid swelled heads from all the attention and ego-stroking that attractiveness with brains generates.
By the same token I guess it wouldn't be fair to judge by pics alone.
But most of us are visual creatures, and by instinct and basic wiring look at appearance first, personality second. That's why most on here will click on a thumbnail pic over a witty username in a blank box when opening a profile, and why our pics are at the top of our profiles and not the bottom.
I can tell a lot by what a person "chooses" as their profile pics. As they say, first impressions are everything. If you don't want to be viewed as frivolous bimbo and sex object but post pics that scream otherwise, you're sending the wrong signals. I don't know how simpler I could state it? | |

me smile:) As for the boobs and cleavage thing I thought I'd jump in and add
my two cents worth. We as women have the right to pick and choose what pics
we wish to post on web pages. Alittle tasteful cleavage does not hurt one dang bit,
as long as you can cope with the responses you get. To those that don't like it here
is my answer DO NOT LOOK , CLOSE YOUR EYES move on to ones page that is not
exposed as you may think.
As I said Cleavage is the V over the heart of a womans chest,
is one of her beauty marks that mark the X over her heart.
Have you not ever seen a womans cleavage ?
Are you not able to tell the dang difference between cleavage and boobs ?
There is nothing wrong with it , God created us WOMEN to entice you men!
Are we succeeding ?
Cleavage is part of a womans boobs it's the V in the middle of her heart that
one can touch it's not exposing a nipple or a bare breast it's part of her chest
Now that we cleared that up I have a nice rack Jay but to me a rack is a shelf
or Buck anlters or coat rack I also hear twins , girls too!
I have to laugh at some of the
humor that men call womens breast and well if a woman has all the B's why
should anyone complain it's like having the best of both worlds is it not body
beauty , boobs and brains.
Hey I am darn proud of what I got and I can handle men that act like horny toads
too and well a real man will see my smile and look at all of me not just my dang boobs.
There is so much to us women than that if you only knew and took the time to truly
open your eyes and looked be yond the cleavage and hey what is so wrong with a
cleavage shot if you got them ladies and your are comfortable by posting such pics
of your inter and outter beauty then by gosh post it feel good about you and what the
good lord gave you , I do and I'm truly blessed.
Enclosing when men write me it's not about my nice rack /boobs it's hey what a
lovely smile & eyes you have that sorta thing. I'm single , almost 50 , successful mom
of one and I'm happy with who I am and when a man tells me I am hot and sexy well
I don't let it go to my head but it's nice to hear and I consider that a complment.
So if you got it ladies flaunt it be darn proud of it.
Men sit back and enjoy the lovely view of us beautiful women that was made by
Adams rib ....

PS: A few weeks ago I was having drinks with my Accountant for my business,
in this place hanging above the bar was a trophy prize called the boobie award .
The boobies had a red two piece top that exposed alittle nipple.
LOL I blushed when
this rack was exposed on the wall and the song was singing beer tatas thats putting it
nicely and the dang thing was shaking and jigling and my Accountant turned to me
and said to hell with whats on the wall I like whats in your shirt .
I was like excuse me
well to make a long story short I did not slap the tar outta him instead I said thanks God Blessed Me Well .

Like I posted earlier, in this pond women who are looking for attention or are looking to capture interest from men will use their assets to do it. A lot of people on here have interesting profiles that are well written and intelligent. Men are a visual gender and by catching their eye with a cleavage shot, the women showing cleavage are getting more attention. the eventual hope being that one of these guys who looks at the profile, actually reads what is written below the pictures, and responds to her profile.

I added another pic (though not the main one) that included most of my body, except for my head (pic was of kid beside me, no one cared if they cut my head out of picture lol). Now men were saying that they didn't believe the body belonged to the face.... So now I have all three - and darn it all, the ladies are evident in all the pics but my face (lol even then...it was a close call!)!
Unless I wear a burlap sack, I can't hide these.... But there is a way to cover them tastefully and not come across as trashy (I hope  ). At least now I'm not spending 3 or 4 emails defending that YES that face belongs to that body, and we can get on w/ the business of finding out if there's real substance to this person.
And when I DO get a tasteful compliment... Its nice.  | |

I also think some women post boob shots just to tease men.... meaning to be harmless fun. As stated though, first impressions are everything and I would like my paws to be the first impression on them  | |

As for tasteful versus tasteless or trashy I think that some of those pictures that are trashy looking may be from women who are not actually interested in meeting a soul mate but are interested in making a ... business transaction ... lol. There are a lot of profiles on here of women who are fishing for clientele. I know this because a friend of mine knows someone who was almost scammed by one of these women. They don't actually advertize as a call girl on here, but when they are emailed the person returns the email with a private email account and thus the business dealings begin lol | |

I am quite well-endowed but you would never know it from looking at my profile. That is a nice surprise for the guy who actually takes the time to actually read and digest what is in my profile without the boobie effect.
I don't like the topless shots of guys either....a nice t-shirt make it quite easy for us ladies to tell what kind of shape you are in. The ones who wear sunglasses or are giving the finger or are showing themselves drinking a beer....please! | |

My boobs are a big part of me .. no pun intended. I like them ... i like how they look ... i like how clothes look on them ... so i mostly wear revealing clothing when im not in a professional atmosphere. Plus ... im so covered up at work ... when im not at work ... i love to walk around showing a little ...
No harm done ... boosts my confidence a bit and makes me feel happy ...
and im sure that some men enjoy it too ...
