Thanks for keeping this forum going  I had actually almost forgotten about it. I haven't been on here much, actually for this very reason I guess.
I've seen a few people around that were like, "hey are you on POF?" I say yes, and then continue to carry on a regular conversation and get to know them a bit, then later when I thought about it.... I was like, WOW, they more than likely have read all of my postings on POF. That kind of gives them an advantage, I feel that they know ALOT more about me then I do about them, and they could already have some preconcieved ideas about what I'm like. I never really thought about running into the people on here, I guess it seemed a bit like another world to me. 
And now I feel like I have to really watch what I say, because I might run into someone and they will have read all the things I've posted. That doesn't seem fair :-(
At the same time though, when I post I'm being me, and I want people to know that. Then again when you meet someone for the first time do you want them to already know that much about you? Its hard to say, because at the same time, when you meet someone new you wish they already did know the real you.

You're right about that, but its different if they post in the forums too. You are at a bit of a disadvantage if they know all that about you, and you don't really know anything about them. I"m not much of a "wear your heart on your sleave" kind of person.
I let people get to know me slowely, but this is different. I just have to figure out whether I like it or not. | |

I'm in the same boat as you...I feel i'm portraying myself as only sexual being on here but the forum is so fun sometimes...however I think some guys will make judments right away because if you put out sexual vibes that is what you get back... | |

GUILTY!!! as SIN!!!...darn it.....
1....I read a forum and I post my first thoughts.......if they are somewhat sexy..sensual..or downright naughty...well..........so be it...they are my thoughts...hehe
2...I am a rather playful sensual woman that is always laughing and joking even in my everydaylife...some people may decide to judge me...and say...wow..she is a slut...and some may say..wow..she is a very openminded...woman that LOVES being a woman......but bet you have to work for that stuff!..LMAO......ya know......neither of these two items matter......cause.....
I dont post in the forums trying to make anyone think either way of me....I post in the forums for different reasons on different days....hehe
1....I am in a playful mood and wanna joke around....
2....I am in a playful mood and some thread has caught my eye...and I wanna give somebody else a reason to laugh.....cause I like people to be happy......like me...!
3...heck....I like to post my INNER thoughts....because so many people DONT....they respond with the politically correct answer or with their opinion ...all fixed up nice and neat....and well......I LOVE honesty!!!
4...In the beginning.....I just visited the forums as a pleasant pasttime....but I have since found it is a good way to WEED out the men....LMAO...(sorry you guys....but if you make judgemental comments.....or show your prudish side.....or your selfish side.......or your hmmm.....well anything I am not attracted to.....well.....I go right back to my emails..and DELETE you out.......cause after all........I am on a quest here !!!....
5...last but certainly NOT least........hehe....I LOVE to pick at the women.....cause they get riled so easily....LMAO.....and well to be honest ladies.....I RARELY agree with what you say...well except for a few who have gained my respect.......for posting what they truly think..and not just what they think these men wanna hear...!!!....
p.s.....I am a very upfront...honest kind of woman......that finds men totally captivating....
I dont think men are appreciated enough for all of their Great qualities as much as they are dogged for their minor mistakes....which we ALL make...cant stand when women call men players...JUST because that man wasnt interested in THEM......geesh....give me a break!...
nothing wrong with you ......if a man isnt attracted to you ladies....just means there is another wonderful man out there JUST for you.........and vice versa...for you wonderful guys ...

Just because you talk about what you enjoy or think you may enjoy...doesn't make you a slut. In all honesty I've been out of circulation for a bit so I've learned a lot. Anal beads and wa wa beads--oh my God. | |

I thought it was gone forever, and lo and behold, it returned when I jettisoned that huge anchor! This is a safe place to learn about what's out there, what it's like returning to the dating field and relearning about yourself! Have fun with it! Exploring does not make you a ho!
