Posted: 4/27/2005 7:56:19 AM | Pretty screwed when posts on this same topic from FunkyAmy which have URLs to other sites "SinglesForSex.com" which just points to friendfinder... hmmm dam all these...
Msg to admin, how about a "Report Abuse" link to report spam, fake accnts, joke accounts, etc?
I've been on other sites that have user "salutes" to prove whos real.. something should be utilized..
Even on POF.. love it, but finding many of these other sites are creating fake accnts on here..
Got to love it when an accnt here says, well i dont check my email here much, come to this site and send me a message" only to find out its paid access site... rrrrriiight.. Like anyone would rather pay a site to get their mail for free...  | |

Posted: 5/1/2005 2:22:07 PM | I tried AFF for 3 months and my account is almost over May 6, 2005. I've e-mailed over 600 women on there and got 3 responses all bot's posting links to websites where u pay to talk to
the lady you have selected!! Don't GO NEAR AFF if you have to choose stay here at POF as it's free and if you get a crap e-mail u can just delete it! I love it here as another member got me hooked into the site..

Yep people hook up at AFF ... oh boy do they ever. I was a chat room regular over there and for women looking to hook up, it was never an issue for me. I never sought out anyone, they always found me, starting with a wink or an email or a comment in the chat room to me, then we'd usually go to Yahoo IM, eventually exchange phone numbers then agree to meet in a public place .. then depending on the attraction and chemistry .. well, you can figure out the rest ..
What... for women seeking women? Of COURSE it's easy for you to find people on there YOU'RE A WOMAN! It doesn't matter if you're gay or bi or straight, if you're a woman people are going to want to hook up with you/date you/talk with you/whatever... for some reason women are glorified on this pedestal or something in our society like goddesses, and men are just, I dunno, the peons that go around cleaning up their piles every time they take a shit or something, looking up upon the goddesses, saying "I hath cleaned up your pile of shit, will you kiss me?" to which the goddess replies "NO, PEON! I AM BUSY MAKING OUT WITH HERA, GODDESS OF ... MAKING OUT WITH ME, BIOTCH!" or somesuch like that...
Long story short, try putting up a profile saying you're a guy and see how many people contact you out of the clear blue... heck see how many reply to you in a chat room, or even better how many reply to emails you send them, especially on a site like that, real world numbers are like 0, 0 and 0. | |

No mail to hot mail, but I get "contacts" in the mail box you have to pay for.
Mail on SexSearch is bot mail from the server, anybody reading my profile would know

Exact same thing happened to me a few days ago. I have no idea how I ended up at sexsearch(really, honestly) and ended up doing the free profile. I was just messing around and I posted a one line profile that read 'not currently in a relationship.' Within 24 hours I had 6 emails and I was put on 4 'hotlists.' You can see the supposed pics of the emailers. One was a very hot girl in a bathtub letting me know that she was 'craving d*ck.' Another model like girl was laying naked on a bed inquiring about what the kinkiest thing i've ever done.
5 of the 6 were like models and then they tried the 'regular girl' routine with the sixth one. She was somewhat attractive and was rollerblading. She asked if I wanted to hang out sometime.
The one thing they all had in common is that they're pictures were magazine ad quality. Not just their looks, but the actual pictures. What a scam they have going on! | |

You don't necessarily have to pay to contact them. There's other ways of getting credits you can use instead of paying. That and they can always contact you too. I had a couple who initiated contact with me. | |

The picture I posted is one where I'm far away sitting on a bench so you can't really see what I look like, mainly because I want men to be attracted to the content of my profile and not to my looks, considering the more sexual inclination of that site. And I've had good results, really nice men who aren't there just for the proverbial "roll in the hay".
Of course I got a few emails of men sending me pics of their lower head... ;) I would email them back telling them I was more interested in a picture of their upper head... I would rarely hear back from them... hehehe | |

Of real living breathing women on that site, a survry was done sometime back and for every women on that site, there were 10 men and half of the available women were looking for other women! Not really worth the money they charge. | |

Hope someone might have better luck than I did here. If anyone can m,ake it work please contact me and let me know what you did to get people to answer you. I have had much luck on the Adult Friend Finder but out of 2 or 3 hundred invites I have got two to three real mkeets and one was really nice and we keep in contact. But they are few and far between. Think one might have just as much luck just chatting and hopeing for the right one. | |
