If there's something planned for her that's where I'll be. Sushi beforehand is a great idea - anyone can make reservations and play hostess though, I don't mind if someone else does it.
Seems to be a lot of February bd's happening around this time, we'll have to make sure the DJ plays happy birthday to them eh? | |

If you're nervous about coming out to your first event, just have a look at some threads from events that have happened recently! Most POFers tend to post after the event and almost always the comments are about what a great time they had!
Being that it was my big mouth  that started the Adopt-A-Newbie program, I'll offer that anyone who wants to be adopted or adopt a Newbie, just PM me and maybe I can find a match for you.
Okay, now that I've finished my official poster-girl rant... I just wanna party....

I bet you $5 I can get in for free if I go. Probably helps I paid cover one time back in like 2001 and then after that I started working for the bar as a bouncer when it was Studio 54. Ah some fond memories. There was a time I was in that place 4 nights a week.

I have a question......
I just got back with my ex and during the time we were apart I dated a wonderful man from POF and he took me to my first POF event at Fraser Downs and had a blast!!!
I was telling him about all the really awesome people I met and I want to know if it is appropriate to come to these events with him so he can meet all you awesome people and we can broaden our circle of friends.

YES!!! you shouldnt even think otherwise... like Rus mentioned: there are couples who come to PoF events... its all about meeting new ppl and having fun while youre doing it

@kid wicked: thanks, all good games but maybe not necessarily the most comfy as mingling/intro games.... there are many who wouldnt be comfortable with playing those games when first meeting someone or a large group...

Better hang signs on them...:P I can just imagine someone planting a kiss on one of them under the heart mistletoe .
