| Is it worthed to try changing people from their wrong ways? Posted: 11/2/2008 6:28:36 PM | | hi.. I believe that it is our duty to lovingly help our brothers and sisters through example and through pointing them to the higher standard... we can change no one, we can not even change ourselves.. true moral lasting change comes from within, from that connection to The Higher Power... whenever we go on our own energy, even over achievers, we eventually burn out.. as a Christian I understand that if the Son of God had to ask the Father for help, we can do no less... blessings, warmly Mona | |

| Is it worthed to try changing people from their wrong ways? Posted: 11/2/2008 6:42:33 PM | | You cannot change someone who does not want to change. The more you try to change them, the more they will rebel against change. Why ? Because they will feel that it was not their choice to change. You can only be a living example of the results of change. | |

| Is it worthed to try changing people from their wrong ways? Posted: 11/2/2008 6:54:51 PM | How well do you know yourself? let's change it to 'attracted to someone with some flaws'
It would help to level the field and assume, we all have flaws....period. Why? because every single one of us is flawed in some way. Dream otherwise, if you want, but it's true.
Every human has potential and possibility for goodness and wholeness. Only we can decide if it is our job to help and show someone the way.
And, even if we do that, the only way is by modeling. Not by assertion or trying to change someone. so...how well do you know and love yourself? Peace Kimbo***************** | |
