| Chivalry defined from the Round Table Posted: 6/11/2005 12:32:46 PM | A kings feast tonight, for a Black Knight! who's galantry, out shines... the sunlight
to use his sword, this day not to cut into enemies nor slay beasts but to cut out pieces, of cake... on this day!

| Chivalry defined from the Round Table Posted: 6/17/2005 9:19:02 PM | My time here is waning down Yet I stay I love each friend I ponder whether to delete Somethings must come to an end I will give this thought but know that it heavily weighs Just know i may not be on much as I ponder whether to stay | |

| Chivalry defined from the Round Table Posted: 6/17/2005 9:44:37 PM | Hi Black Knight... I hope, all is well with you...
Time is just a matter, of the mind simply living, day by day experiencing, new things as it comes, on by
sometimes good, other times bad but all the time, exilerating exercise, too thoughts inclined
we come and we go placing our lives, in show our rymes and the inner spirit, that grows
like sharpening, of knives we use, the pain or joys too write, our views
for us? for others? too, learn or simply, just amuse
all and all, its a ride and half the power of the mind, is here for all, to grasp
|
| Chivalry defined from the Round Table Posted: 6/17/2005 10:04:50 PM | Immortality? is a hard one to ponder shall i stay or go, who knows? for sites thereon, therein or unknown?
we never quite, fade away for trails we leave behind are far, from grey
like foot prints, in the sand its all, in life's plan
too be taken, from here to there and be brought back, later to share with our souls, laying bare

| Chivalry defined from the Round Table Posted: 6/18/2005 9:51:54 AM | Aids, to the cause when one faulter, the others come to call
rising to the occasion acting as a brace or crutch so that, they do not fall
one of lifes truths, simply being there with care, so fair
friendships, aligned such beauty, when others rising to thier duty
how many more truths, can be found in threads, we roam around more honest, there doesn't seem to be for friendships at hand, are truly a beautiful sight, to see

| Chivalry defined from the Round Table Posted: 7/2/2005 9:33:36 PM | The darkened path around the bend Unbeaten way, where does it end The crescent moon's mischief smile Just a dance of its twinkling guile Lured to explore blackened hollow Inner woods and souls they swallow Where has his fair maiden gone Vanished from sight no trace at dawn | |
|
| Chivalry defined from the Round Table Posted: 7/3/2005 12:59:23 PM | A poets heart, is like a song thats waiting to write whether from inner feelings or outer, sights
we evolve with time, place pen to paper like a scribe, in our very own times
seeking for others, to view and maybe change, a few rules
hopefully making life, a little brighter bringing issues up, where sight has become dimmer, from lighter
just my way of thinking, i suppose? really don't mean, too impose?
we all have, our points of focus just some of us, move around like pens, who migrate like locusts

| Chivalry defined from the Round Table Posted: 7/11/2005 8:54:30 PM | I am ... at this moment as I've always been thee enigma of championed hope the herald of victories conquest and justice to moral decrepitation
I am... with certitude the mythic harbinger a simple feather from the angel of death the might against the abyss of chaos the dream lived within the uncertainty
I am... of ancient memory and futures claim the spoke of truth and wheel of greatness the glory of all that is righteous and good the dilemma that spites the rage of darkness
I am... a true shining beacon pure and untainted the cleanser of all that is wrong and evil sought by the moral filth but unreachable desired by the wicked but the prize of only One
I am... forged of heart, and steel by the hand of light the shear force of order in the soul of man the unstoppable belief of good and rightness the true heart of the once and future King
I AM . . . . . EXCALIBUR | |

| Chivalry defined from the Round Table Posted: 7/22/2005 9:17:59 PM | The rolling misty fog silent creeping The mariner lies the morning sleeping Rhythmic tone of the the bay side bell The breaking wind the loose vessles sail Sudden Awakening the fog horn roar The lost hazy mind where is the seashore The damp settling mist clinging to the face Swallowed by the ghost, vanished, no trace | |

| Chivalry defined from the Round Table Posted: 7/23/2005 10:11:33 PM | Ok this is a religious poem but hey i was compelled to write so I did. Wanted to for awhile and had notes over time to assist so here it is.
The Blood That Spills
The hour was nigh to meet with his fate Powers of darkness consumed in their hate The red beads of sweat from a blood drenched head Remove this cup to his father he pled Just a stone's throw away, his brothers slept None at the watch as the enemies crept Seized by nights cover betrayed by a kiss Thirty shekels of silver for blood like this Mocking blasphemy as tempers inflame He stands there in silence to each false claim Abandoned by brothers left to his own Blameless he must face this course all alone His comrad would cower accused by his foe's Thrice will deny before the rooster crows Blindfolded and beaten mouth spilling red Tearing the garments the sinless one bled Clenching the hair as they ripped out his beard Flesh torn from his face as swollen eyes teared Passed through the courts his words put on trial Messiah or not, he speaks no denial The washed hands of a judge no wrong he sees "Let the people choose to do as they please" The murderer goes free when the men cry It's God's child whom they wish to crucify Tied to a post forty lashes less one Flesh dangles in shreds before they are done Led into a hall the soldiers circle He stands faint as they clothe him in purple His head dressed with a twisted crown of thorns His face spat on as the garrison scorns The blows to his head beaten by a reed Thorns puncture the skull as they watch him bleed Cross on his back escorted to the street Battered body fell his strength in defeat One would bear his cross by soldiers request Dragging to the place of his final rest The rusted nails sinking nine inches deep The screams of anguish while the mothers weep Gathering crowds mocking while he torments Soldiers cast lots dividing his garments His frail frame writhing in agony's stress A body in shock, a heart in duress He speaks these words after all he's been through "Father forgive them, they know not what they do" His mother broken lying in dispair As he suffocates struggling for air The cold consumes, his life overtakened As cries to his father are forsakened The sun grows dark over the whole land Its face is blotched out by the father's hand Cries for deliverance echo across time Pleading his blood, the price of man's crime From the anguished mariner lost at sea To the soldiers wounds from metal debris From a dad's tears for his child lying frail To greiving widows when the towers fell To all who felt lost in hopeless dispair Looking for answers and someone to care Hearing the cries he pays to set us free With sacrificial blood that runs down the tree The earth trembles, the veil tears in two The centurion weeps "surely its true" The spirit given to father's embrace Holy of holies has a new dwelling place Oh where oh where is the sting of death All fulfilled after he takes his last breath Three days to rise, the stone rolled from the tomb He walks with the living conquering doom To the father's house he now must dwell Until the judgement of angels who fell It will be a day like the last great flood The sun will grow dark and moon drip with blood Then trumpets will sound and the clouds will roll He will come like lightning for each elect soul

| Chivalry defined from the Round Table Posted: 8/14/2005 1:04:40 PM | The Weary Way
A wayward time has given birth To see beyond the edge of earth Out of the gray into the black In darkened skies no traces back New moon hovers in secret pass No star to shine as clouds amass The valley echos in stillness sound The pitch of night no light is found Tightly inching the narrow ledge Staring over the outer edge Above the cliff, town of sorrow A faithless hope cries tomorrow The rhyme of man, the fate to all By dust they come, to dust they fall Old clock ticks in the middle square Its hands of time do not care The pendulum swings from this tower Twelve tolls to sound the midnight hour Silence broken with deathly rattles The grip of fear, the soul embattles Awakened wolves in distant howl Questions uttered from hooting owl What lies in the deepened ravine The swallowed light, below unseen Is there life or is there death For racing heart, consuming breath The last bell tolls then silence rings The thoughts come clear as stillness sings Shall see what lies at break of day For now must inch the weary way

| Chivalry defined from the Round Table Posted: 8/16/2005 2:42:24 PM | Castle With A View
It was our domain where the tall grass grew In the whistling song as the warm wind blew The strands toasted brown from the August sun Its soft caresses in afternoon fun The scent of white lace and tiger lilies And katydid tunes in soft melodies As we cut secret trails through the deep field To sunken terrain for hideouts to build With beach towel capes like supermen wear And crabapple bombs to fling through the air We dived in the grass with our arms spread wide And crawled underneath for a place to hide Time appeared to stop as the sparrows sung The bumblebees buzzed and grasshoppers flung Til that faintly heard jingle caught us at play Circling the bend interrupting our day With capes flying high through the field we soared Yelling "Ice Cream!! Ice Cream!!" as bellies roared Tasting the delight of a dreamsicle treat As creamy nectar dripped down at our feet We then watched the airplanes crisscross the sky With their feathery streaks painted on high Til the sun dipped low, yellows fading red From Crimson to purple as star lights spread The world seemed like a castle with a view And dreams were saw in many shades of hue.

| Chivalry defined from the Round Table Posted: 8/21/2005 9:28:45 AM | I wrote this a while back , I love fantasy.
A Maiden's Love
Maiden: I have waited for this day, my Prince will come to me My eyes of blue show tenderness, that only he can see. Where are ye my Prince, this castle is so cold I need thee arms around me, to warm my very soul.
Prince: Thou hast my love sweet maiden, forever and day Come walk with me in the meadows, least I might lose my way. We will dance to the music, the birds will surely sing I will offer ye these flowers, and this your wedding ring.
Maiden: I will walk with thee sweet Prince, near the castle grounds And watch with faith enduring, the love that we hath found. For in thee my heart I do entrust, forever and a day And I am always with thee, never to lose my way.
Prince: I will offer up my Kingdom, built for thee my love And ask that our love be blessed, from angels up above. For ye have brought me happiness, that I have never seen And I'd wait right here forever, for you to be my Queen.

| Chivalry defined from the Round Table Posted: 8/27/2005 11:16:48 AM | Dad arrived home and wheeled in a huge box Waiting, watching, what mystery unlocks Rolling up the stairs and in through the door Sitting it down on the livingroom floor Our minds were filled, consumed with surprise Watching him open with his bulging eyes From the box to the corner he slid Just like us with the excitement of a kid The big wooden frame had funny looking ears And in that frame a snowman appears Dad played with the ears and turned its nose Then started yelling at that picture that snows He smacked the side before going to the roof He was on a mission to remove the snowy goof Up and down many times in delirium Twisting and turning some funny metal stem The more hissing we heard the more angry he got Til kicking the box that he just had bought Bouncing it through the room, out the door it went Not much caring about the money he spent While dad watched that snowman the rest of the day We took the large box to the yard to play We cut out some windows and painted the side Then cut out the middle to open wide We crawled in and looked all around It truly was a castle that we had found While dad continued to cry like a boy Sulking all day with his broken kids toy Our afternoon was spent in much pleasure For we discovered dads genuine treasure

| Chivalry defined from the Round Table Posted: 8/28/2005 6:50:06 AM | You, m'lord, have such a flare for putting pen to paper. You truly need to think about having these published in a book. Your writing skills are truly amazing. I have so enjoyed reading everyone of them. My writing tends to lean more towards John Keats style. And I do not think I have any to share that tis of knights and chivalry. But I would like to post one none the less. If twould be allowed. Azure Gypsy | |
