It's more when a women feels like she was tricked by playing on her emotions that she says that. Yes I know she agreed but somehow when he goes from being all warm and loving.....then leaving after he's had what he wanted and his demeanour is completely cold....then of course shes gonna feel slighted. | |

Sure You'll B*tch to your girlfriend all of whom maybe in similar situations as you.. but you just go on subsisting to make "your" man happy..
When I divorced my first husband.. My mother sat down with me.. to say.. what are people going to say.. you have to understand that after all he is a man...
so as a man in latino culture he's entittled and often pressured to Hoochify himself.

my two cents add :
by the way, to spend efforts for the seduction round is something normal, i guess. i guess too that some time the precess is quick, sometime it is long, that depends of many factors. Sometimes the round is between adults who know exactly what they want (if they want short term), sometimes the round is for the real love of one life. up to all to be honest, that's all !
of course there are male cheaters, and probably as much as female cheaters, they just cheat on different things.
to see the difference takes time and experience, but anyway, when you are in love, you become completely blind... so just hope that the other is in the same mood, but if not, don't complain after all, or maybe you can complain, but don't the remaining of your life to complain | |

He's very shy, and my daughter told me the first time she met his parents his dad reminded him to be a gentleman at all times before they left to go out.. He brings me flowers, calls me mom, hugs me... But, I've also tried to explain the whole "Madonna complex" to her, and tell her to keep it in mind. She's only 18.....
Her best girlfriend lived with us for a while, and ended up pregnant 2 months after graduating from high school. Her BF is 25, she just turned 18 in July. The doctor told her it was so early in the pregnancy that they could give her a medication to end it and she wouldn't have to have an actual abortion. She talked to me about it, and I told her exactly what I thought. A few days later she told me she had decided to keep the baby. A child having a child, and she's not even married. In fact, she lied and told me she was moving in with her BF, but ended up moving in with her aunt, because her mom and her hardly speak.... Makes me sad at times. I tried to explain to her that if she had no real work experience and just a high school diploma, life could be very tough and that she could only count on herself. You just never know what tomorrow will bring. She told me that "God" gave her this baby. I told her that unprotected premarital sex gave her this baby, but she didn't want to hear it.
Almost all of my neighbors are Hispanic, and I don't feel I'm predjudiced at all. I just see the "reality" of it. So, I know that you know what I'm saying.

Oh yea do I ever know what your saying I grew up in a traditional household. my father ruled my mother was the maid.. granted she didn't work a day in her life.. but also didn't have an education.. saddly latino culture goes beyond the madonna/whore complex.. Women aren't viewed as important..
when I went to college.. I wanted to study archeology.. I was told by my parents that unless I became a teacher or a secretary they would "not" help me with schooling.. becuase after all what the hell would a woman need an education for anyway.. while my brothers had their schooling paid in full..
its just how things are.. I supposed.. but this is getting off topic so.. back to the used for sex comments
