Men are simple creatures.

No we are not. That's FHM, Maxim, stupid beer commercial man-law crapola.

Gecko- Your views on money, women, and romance just astound me. I could respond and pick apart everything that you said again, but what's the use? You're the one who's going to be taken for a ride, not me. And when she's done, she'll move on, and you'll be left with nothing. Besides, anyone who feels that love can be bought isn't someone I care to deal with. You sir are devoid of true, human values and your mindset is what's helping to ruin our country and the world at large. Men like you keep women in a box with views like that. You see them as servants, slaves. You encourage them to abandon independence and empowerment. You're bribing them. Buying them off.

I don't care what you say, you DO view women as property. If you feel that your money should be the primary reason why women are attracted to you, then you are trying to buy them. Pure and simple.

Fortunately there are people out there who don't share your mindset. People who believe in true love and romance and compassion. Those are things that cannot truly be bought. The love that you find will be false. The love that you give will be false.

Like I said, I respect your right to your opinion even though its clear you have no respect for mine. I've been civil to you, I haven't made any personal attacks on you, I don't make any commentary on how you choose to handle your finances. But there you are with your personal attacks. It's all you have left.

If you feel that your money should be the primary reason why women are attracted to you, then you are trying to buy them. Pure and simple.

I never said money is everything, but you seem to imply money is nothing. If you feel that way, lets see how long any of the women on this site or in real life would want to date you if you lived in pure poverty, had no job and no prospects financially for the future.

Idealistically, thats nice, its a nice way to hope life would be but its not reality. The reality is if you don't have keep steaks in the freezer, you will end up in life eating alone.

People who believe in true love and romance and compassion. Those are things that cannot truly be bought.

And how is that working out for people? On a free site? Do you see people here dancing for joy and happiness all day long about their dating lives? For free, those things don't have such a great record in romance either.

And I never said true love and romance and compassion could be bought. Like I said before, sounds like you have some kind of issue with money, not me, sounds like you have some conflict about how money works in the world, not me.

But you know what can be bought? In the last five years I have paid for 14 different expensive and complicated surgeries and medical procedures for children whose parents could not afford health insurance. I'm not the only one, lots of wealthy guys I know give, and give well, to charities and disadvantaged folks out there. You want to paint every rich guy as some old heartless **stard with a bimbo on each arm. You think every rich guy started rich? My first business was one delivery truck where I slept in the back of it for the first five months at the ripe age of 19 years old. Your profile says your into comic books, do think when Bob Kane wrote Batman, that he envisioned a perfect man? Or a rich young good looking guy who lost his parents in a horrible tragedy? Do you think Bruce Wayne would give up every dollar he had to bring his parents back without a moments pause? Rich or poor, everyone has a demon to sleep with at night. I can't buy love, but I can buy a poor kid and his family the chance at life, a real life, without being saddled in medical debt until the day they die. Do you think those kids care if I am a good or bad man as long as they can run around and play again? If they can have a normal life again? Not every rich guy is a jerk and not every poor guy is a saint. Life isn't a comic book.

I could respond and pick apart everything that you said again, but what's the use?

Go ahead, pick it all apart if you want.

Like I said, it looks to me like the issue is your problem about money in general, not about how I view and deal with money.

No, that's not what I am doing.

You think every rich guy started rich?

No, but most of them have. You have to have money to make it.

My first business was one delivery truck where I slept in the back of it for the first five months at the ripe age of 19 years old.

Good for you.

Your profile says your into comic books, do think when Bob Kane wrote Batman, that he envisioned a perfect man? Or a rich young good looking guy who lost his parents in a horrible tragedy?

I think he wanted to show that Bruce Wayne is what is the mask. Batman is truly what Bruce Wayne is. He uses the facade of "rich, handsome fop" to disguise his dark, vengeful side.

Do you think Bruce Wayne would give up every dollar he had to bring his parents back without a moments pause? Rich or poor, everyone has a demon to sleep with at night.

You're right.

I can't buy love, but I can buy a poor kid and his family the chance at life, a real life, without being saddled in medical debt until the day they die.

That's nice that you do that. You just seem to act as if your money makes you more worthy of someone than someone else.

Not every rich guy is a jerk and not every poor guy is a saint.

I never said that.

Life isn't a comic book.

No kidding. You're the one talking about Batman as if he were real.

"If you feel that way, lets see how long any of the women on this site or in real life would want to date you if you lived in pure poverty, had no job and no prospects financially for the future."

People who live like that aren't worried about dating. They're worried about finding a place to sleep and food to eat. That comment is irrelevant.

Look, I really don't care to go back and forth with you anymore. I went through this on other boards. It never ended, and I have grown weary. You go down your road and I'll go mine. I hope you end up happy. All I know, is that I don't want someone who cares about what I have, no matter how much money I end up having. I'm not going to use my material assets to woo anyone.

And I apologize for being nasty to you. It's just that I am a working person. I have never been rich, and probably never will be. I don't feel that that makes me less worthy than another guy. When you value people based on their income, it's called classism, and I feel the effects of it every day of my life.

You took a risk, and "made it". Great for you. Not everyone gets there. In fact, most people fall when they take chances like that. They're just trying to live. That doesn't make them "less than".

If a woman is faced between a blue-collar guy like me and you, who is allegedly very well-off, and she goes for you based solely on your assets, then she's not someone I want.

hmmmm Mr gordon gecko

i dont think being skinny or whatever makes u attractive to me its definately about personality

i have seen many women who are curvy or chubby who look fabolous so yea there are those 500 pounders who look a mess but not all women who are considered heavy are ugly

but i guess what i consider attractive is different then most since i see things in a different light

but still you cant count out all curvy or chubby women as fugly beasts lol

and some are happy being curvy or chubby because they know they look good they get men

Holy EGO Batman!!................... pardon the pun

Just walk aways folks.... if "he" has no audience... or people to bash on, to make himself feel better, maybe he will change into his batman outfit and use his wealth and powers for good!!!

Warrior... great thought process, *smiles*

For someone who has soooo many businesses to run... You seem to have ample time to spend MrG. on a "free" dating site bragging and bashing on the poor, the fat and the ugly! .... Perhaps one of the more expensive "pay" sites would be better for a man of your um... stature...

We is just common simple folk here!
