My worst dump EVER was after I ate at taco bell two days straight and...Oh, you mean break-up. Sorry.
That is so funny.
The worst dump I have heard was my best friend. His ex told him that she wanted to jump other guys and not him. Well, about 5 years later. He is engaged, she is miserable and life goes on. | |

Posted: 1/26/2006 6:28:50 PM | I met a man on the net, he quit his job and announced he had one here and was moving to TX without discussing it. He eventually proposed ( a number of times actually because I felt it was too soon) and after a year I eventually agreed and things were working out despite the way he surprised me with his unexpected move. We took a family vacation with my kids to DisneyLand. 2 days before we left his mother came to visit and didnt like her one and only (apparantly very coddled) son being with someone who was divorced with children and held nothing back in making it known in my own house even. I graciously held my tongue in an attempt not to further inflame the situation till some understanding had been reached. He apparantly had not told her about his unexpected decision.
On day 2 of a 7 day vacation he announced the wedding was off because his mother would not accept me. He kept my tickets and announced we would be finishing the vacation. My children didnt want to leave and we spent the rest of the week in the same hotel room not speaking to one another. There was NO magic in the magic kingdom for me!
My revenge is that he is still a momma's boy and I moved on, took a vacation I could never afford but that he insisted on and managed to have fun with my kids anyway, AND I will always be more than he deserves :) and what he regrets missing the most. He came crawling back and I had the pleasure of telling him thanks but no thanks | |

When I was 20, my father died. At that time I was with a slightly younger man (18) who was the first man to ever propose to me... he was a pallbearer at my father's funeral but he broke up with me a wk after my Dad died because he said, and I quote that I was taking too long to get over it.
And then he started dating a 14-year-old girl. | |

that is the problem with internet dating... spend so much time getting to know someone before you meet that there is a presumed comfort level... so people have sex much sooner... because you feel like you are connected to the person.. bottomline.. you don't know someone until you have spent time with them.... | |

Posted: 2/3/2006 4:14:00 AM | Most painful breakup was 13 days after our son died. It was actually very amicable and looking back it was the best thing for both of us in the long run. Everyone felt so bad for me that I couldn't stand all the pity and ended up moving to another city. And yes, we're still very good friends. We've worked together in two different jobs (he coincidentally moved here also), I know (and like) his girlfriend, and because of the pain we went through together we both honestly wish one another only happiness.
Most dramatic breakup was when a male roommate that I made the mistake of sleeping with turned into a psycho, stole my car, threatened my landlords, and had to be escorted off the property by the police. Then he smashed his truck into my car while it was parked on the street one day. I haven't had any roommates since then.

Posted: 2/3/2006 12:12:43 PM | umm i guess i can contribute. my only kinda dump and it wasnt even a long relationship. known her for 2 years. i was hung up on her and finally we gave it a shot with eachother and on our first night as being a couple on new years eve she made out with her ex behind my back...but i learned about it quickly..easy to find stuff out when people are drunk. doesnt seem bad, but i was crushed. i rejected some girls just to wait for a chance with her...and thats what you get when you pass up opportunities  | |

Best 8 months ever! Then he dumped me, over the telephone, without any real reason to support it. All I got was " I just wanna be left alone...I can't be in a relationship right now." So we've been friends since...new Year's Eve 2005, was amazing!!!! I spent it with him, and I thought we were going to get back together. We listened to music, drank together, played some drinking games, cuddled and then.....midnight rolled around, and we kissed!!!! I was ecstatic! I thought we were getting back together, that wasn't the case. I love him, and miss him horribly, miss the cuddles and stuff....I hope we can work things through. | |

What really hurts is that I truly liked this person and she didn't want to remain friends.

She lived in the valley 2hrs away I live in silicon Valley
She liked to drink, a lot I drink a little wine once in a while
She buys her wacko son automatic weapons I don't like guns
She was busted for selling prescriptions I think that's a bad thing
That's why her husband dumped her I let those things pass by
She listened to Comtemp Christian music Oh no, not for me
She was a bible thumper I'm a liberal Unitarian
She has cops and firemen on her Myspace That was scary for me
She was a closet cigarette smoker Yuck!
She had a minor genital problem I didn't like using condoms
She had a spending problem I'm fiscally responsible
But, being dumped is not fun.
You know...writing this list down makes me feel a whole lot better! She was actually no match for me at all! Now maybe I can find a good lady here on POF!

By boyfriend picks me up from the hospital and stays with me for three days but on the third day I need to get outta the house and get my mind off of what happened, He takes me to this little secluded old boat ramp. It was so romantic that we started making out and then we went skinny dipping. While we were still naked in the water, he tells me that him and his x girlfriend are getting back together and he didn't think right after picking me up from the hospital was the right time to tell me, BUT apparently 3 days later while I and naked and now have to get outta the water and parade back down the pier to get my clothes was better timing??? | |

Posted: 6/5/2007 4:17:43 AM | | No this is the worse dump ever and it was me and my girlfriend who done it.Well it was more of a "Busted"thing.I was dating aguy named Brian from POF .After the second date he told me he was deeply in love with me and wanted to spend the rest of his life with me.This scared me a bit so I broke it off.We didnt have anything in common.After a few weeks I decided to give him a call and to give us one more chance.He came to see me and we decided to try again.he went out of town when my girlfriend popped up on the computer and ask me if I knew him I said yes.She went on to tell me she had been dating him also.Same scenario "he loved her and wanted to marry her".How funny this not so great looking guy was a player.So we set him up.He was wanting to come to see me when he got back in town and he wanted to see her that night .He didnt know we knew each other .I told him I had things to do and would see him tomorrow.He arrived at her house . I was hiding in the linen closet with a ditigital camera.She greeted him with kisses and hugs and told him she missed him.I waited for my cue.when she said "Do you want your surprise now?' I came out and walked to where they were on the sofawith the camera.It took him a few minutes before he realized who I was /He jumped at least 3 ft away from her .I got the picture!! Deer inthe headlights !! I said "brian you didnt know we were friends did you ?" All he said was no.I told him "this is a picture of a liar.a cheat.and a predator.now all we want was for him to get out of both our lives.My friend called him a few choice names and he ran like a scalded dog..We have the pic.So my lesson is You dont have to be a tall good looking bad boy to be a player..This guy was a Howard Stern look alike tall skinny and not so great looking//But he did have it down pat ..one of us would have gotten hurt had it been under different circumstances.. some how things finally worked in our favor...hes probably still licking his wounds thinking up new lines to play on//I just wanted every woman who reads this to know..get to know these men first and please do talk about them with your friends .You never know. (disclaimer: this was pulled off by 2 really good friends and should only be done under strick guidelines.a real man wasnt harmed while doing this stunt) | |

AND GUESS WHAT???? He wants me to go out on a date with him!!! He wants me back, he made a very big mistake, he will never look at another woman again, he has been in agony OH and lets not forget, he never REALLY broke-up with me, he needed 'time, space, he was confused, his brain was all black and cloudy, he was all messed up'
All he wants is me back. Naaa, don't think so. Something inside of me broke, I'm not the same and I know it. I have to find me before I have anyone else in my life because I'm not dragging maybe a really nice guy into hell with me.

I met a man 5 yrs ago - he persued me like no other - was there for me - moved in with me after 6months of dating - 2weeks before our 4yr annerservy he was late coming home form work - real late - he didn't answer his cellphone - I finally reached him at like 9:30-10:00pm and he said he had been at a job interview that he was trying to supprise me with a new job & that he had been looking at a tree job for some side money - HE'S A LANDSCAPER AND TREE TRIMMER - PLEASEEEEE - I told him he may have been looking at a trim job but it didn't have a damn thing to do with trees... He said how dare I accuse him like that and because of me saying that he would not be coming back home... And I needed to pack his crap for him to come get... lol... He came back a week later and got his crap... I packed it alright - threw it right on the front yard... I found out later he was screwing some crack whore across town because he had turned 40 and was feeling old... 
That was 1 year and 2 weeks ago - It's been a hard year but I'm so glad that he's gone and I'm no longer wasting my time with him... | |
