j/k Umm.. that is a tough one. When I was a virgin, I knew I could but now.. I love sex who doesn't. Sex is a healthy part of a relationship.
It really would depend on the woman;
If I think she is really the one I want to spend my life with then yes,
If I don't I'd simply say lets be friends.
The scenario is first date though, if I'm not mistaken. I would have to say (after I close my mouth from a jaw dropping what?) I'd have to get to know her better before I made any choices. A girl could decide Hey this guy's not the one I want to marry after a year or two and then you just wasted all that time waiting for nothing. That would be so damn hard, and mentally taxing. let's be friends! | |

I realize that I may be damning myself for saying so. But...no. What's the point? You only live once. And...personally, I think that if you really, really like someone, then using sex as a sort of "concession" for a binding contract (sorry to all of you romantics, but that's what it is) is kinda messed up. I don't believe in god, heaven, hell or anything like that. So, the religious arguement doesn't work on me, either. If it's a matter of personal principles, then I admire and respect you. However, we won't be sleeping together, getting married, or doing much else aside from just being friends.

What I mean to say, in response the the OP's question is; I suppose no pre-marital sex would be alright, in the end I would be having sex... sex that doesn't end in sticky fingers, and large painful blisters ...
not that I would know... touching yourself can cause blindness!

I'm curious, as I've only known a a few people who entered into marriage lightly--- yet statistics show that about half of the overall marriages in this country end in divorce.
I'm curious as to how many people freak out about "wasted years" after they save themselves for a marriage that didn't work. Probably not many, I guess, because of the personality type involved. (Though I know a few people who got married in their early 20s who now say that they wouldn't have waited- that the person they are has fundamentally changed in a way that they prefer.) | |

I say wait and dont even kiss. You have the rest of your life to explore that other complex side of your friendship. We did this and it lasted for 30 yrs and kept getting better. S low down and enjoy the journey. Then every stage will be the best. | |

Let's just say you marry this woman not had sex prior and you find out, she does not like sex...HAPPY HONEYMOON!! now what are you going to do? Or yet you wait find out she wants it 5x a day and you can't keep up with her, now will she look elsewhere? I'm not waiting to get married, I will however wait till the time is right.  | |

I saw some squirrels humpin in my back yard.... they didn't get married I assume. Guess they missed you people's beloved bible. The day you love love, and nature (including our own), as much as your old bible, is the day stupidity dies and evolution really occurs. Seriously, I would not wait till the wedding day itself but as one poster mentioned it's a good idea to go slow. I would say once engaged to be married, a commitment has been made, and that's a good time to have some serious fun!! | |

Neither of use were virgens by a long shot. But she turned into a freezer when it came to sex. Now not saying sex is most important thing but you better enjoy it with each other or in long term it will put a wege between you without even knowing it. I am a woman and I know I wouldn't be willing to marry someone I'd never had sex with!! What if sex with that person sucks? Mind you, I wouldn't marry someone without first living with them for a while either. Divorce is horrible. And I think people need to be very sure before they take the step of marriage!
