I would. Some people tend to think its for "religious" reasons. No. Its because of my relationship with Jesus Christ=God. The difference between "religions" and my relationship with Jesus, is that a religion is just following a set of rules.
The holy spirit is within me. I'm born again. Meaning Christ is in my life. Sex isn't the foundation of my life. Also, waiting for sex after marriage doesn't make you a strong man. Being a man of God makes you a strong man. A man of integretity. A man who will respect as woman's body as well as his own.
I'm reading all these opinionated view points, all sourced from experiences and upbringings. Nah. I'm not having that. I'll take my advice form the bible bro. Its simply a instruction manual for your life. Proverbs is the best place to learn how to line up your life with God. We like to have things our way. God created sex to be cherished between husband and wife. But people wanna do what they wanna do. We're stubborn. Easiest way to decrease chances of STD's? Zip your pants up. Simple as that.
If you don't have a relationship with Jesus what do you have to lean on? The economy? The government? Your feelings? The whole "imma do me, and you do you"? And lets all think positive and "hope for the best". What about "I'm keepin it real". Why not just be real? Be transparent. Don't be two-faced, and hypocritical. You lose credibility like that. Be vulnerable. And if people screw you over, cry out to Jesus, and let'im give you peace. Especially if your supposedly significant other uses sex to kick you in the balls. But anyways I'm way...off topic.
So yes, I'll wait for marriage. Cuz sex isn't the foundation of my life. Jesus is. | |

That's the true definition of marriage from God right there ( the very first marriage of Adam and Eve ), check it out. You can still wait until both you and the lady are in a relationship. It's once you both choose to have sex in a committed relationship together, you're married. Sex is Marriage.
I once used to think marriage was like you have to wait until you both become engaged, come to the altar, read your vows, kiss the each other, party up and after then have sex. That's man made tradition and it is not God's tradition. You want the true definition of marriage it's in the bible. | |

Sexual prowess and drive matters; at this day in age, there's little getting around that.
I certainly wouldn't marry a person based on their sexual performance anymore than id marry them based on their credit score. However, to reduce it to a non-issue is a grievous mistake.
I can only imagine that a woman would feel somewhat robbed if she married a man with a 3 inch penis, ED, an STD or (dare I say it) a tongue useful for little else than licking ice cream or barking demands. | |

By the way those on here that say they can wait have not met her/him yet lol! After you meet someone that you have the chemistry of thunder and lightning ..come back and tell me how easy it was to wait ?
Wrong. I met my wife in March 1993 and we waited till our wedding night in February 1995. She was taken in an accident. If I again meet someone, I will wait. | |

Very easy it's called don't give in to your own lustful desires to try and control someone else and have some respect for your partner and for yourself to calm your desires down, If she/he is not in a hurry to want to have sex, respect that. Like I told one poster sex is marriage, and when she's ready she'll let you know. | |

It would be OK with me, as long as she does not mind if I have sex with others while waiting.

The woman in question wouldn't be the right woman if she made me jump through arbitrary hoops.
When I was dating I liked the company of grown-ups who enjoyed having sex without the 'If you like it you gotta put a ring on it.' attitude.
So many factors have to come together for two people to decide when and if to even get married at all, and getting married just to make it okay to have sex is just the stupidest reason.
Well, for you who practice sex before marriage what are you going to do when scripture plainly states that an adulterer, a fornicator (which most of you are talking about), an effeminate, and a drunkard can NOT enter the kingdom of heaven?
'Because it's in the bible' is a particularly stupid reason too!

I would not wait for marriage.
Although sex is not the most important part of a relationship, it is still part of a relationship. If you wait for marriage and the other person is horrible in bed or and found out that they did not like sex or Tab A does not fit in Slot A (lol), then you are stuck in a relationship with poor or no sex (Assuming that you belief in the sanctity of marriage). This is one of the major contributing factors for infidelity. No granted, if both parties are virgins then they wouldn't know the difference nor what they are missing.
Now with that said, you don't need to jump in bed with them on the 1st night either. | |

If you are not sure about sex stay home and take a nap, read a book. Anyways in order to get to marriage you would need to walk the way a few years...and really prove that you are the right women....this is not a few weeks or few months thing.....I would say 5 years minim.
Or should I get marry have sex...and if I don't like it then just live with it...or if I don't like it can I go and have sex in a different place ? Or should I pay lawyers for a divorce ? Can you see the nonsense ? | |
