When I say strong, I am saying that I know what i want in life and how to get it on my own. don't need a man to carry me in life, pay my bills, or tell me who my friends can be. I'm a grown ass woman and can make my own decisions. I have an opinion, and am not afraid to voice it. That doesn't mean that i won't listen to YOUR opinion and respect it, knowing that they may be different. But you must also be man enough to respect mine.
When I look for a man, it's to compliment my life. Not to make my life. Someone who respects me for being me, but is also there to pick me up when I stumble in life. I am strong enough to do the same for you, which is what a real relatinoship is all about.
Love me, hate me, but let it be for being me, not the person that you THINK i should be.

Ok, I like a strong woman, who can speak her mind and stand her ground. So why is it that every time I meet someone she turns into a total wimp? I like a woman who presents a challenge, not one who waits for someone to do the thinking for them. And guys, am I alone in this?
Okay - I've been down this road before - I am very strong and very straight up and it scares men. They say they love it but when it comes down to it they hate it, cause they are not the dominate one - that is not to say that I dont have old fashioned values - I still do believe that man is the stronger !!! (Yes I'll cop flack for that comment).
Men only like a woman to be strong when she isn't confronting him with questions of his dishonesty. They love a strong woman who will be that way in life and probably with her own children.
Let's be honest though - and I've been down this road before - I asked a question about something that may have not been told truthfully by the man, and he freaks out cause I spoke my mind - what is up with that shite!!!!!
The women you probably meet aren't strong - or have a strongness to them, but not what you are looking for. Their strongness may come out in different areas of their life or the relationship. Most women like that - get stronger when they are betrayed by a man, you will see their true strength then....
Its all good - just always remember -treat people the way you want to be treated and all will be good and gracious. | |

I am a strong women and am not afraid to admit it.. but I have found that men seem to prefer the meek ones so they can be dominant and be the boss.. they are not truly looking for someone who can take charge when need be.. but those who look like barbie dolls 24/7..
I personally would not and will not change who I am.. he must want me for me and not something from a magazine..

After reading your profile, there were a few things that popped in my head. First, you advertise you own 2 businesses...why did you put that in? My thought is a weaker woman is one who looks for a man to take care of her, and if you are advertising your financial success, a weak woman might apply. Another thing that also caught my eye is that pic of you with your car. I say get rid of it.
