I buy off-brands... but then again I only pay about $2.50US a pack because I buy 'em by the carton at the local Beverage King. Anyone who smokes regularly and still buys by the pack - especially at a convenience store - is surely "math challenged".

One of these days, with the rising price of cigarettes (and presuming I don't quit again for the last time), I'm probably going to break down & buy a cigarette stuffer & start getting my tobacco in bulk. That beats anything already packaged, and you can get pretty good tobacco that way. The stuffed cigarettes are built exactly like any name brand cigarette - filter & all; they don't look like a doob.

I discovered a new cigarette today. Bronco's. I also discovered something else! They suck! Marlboro's are GREAT!!!! d*mn that almost $6 for a pack!!

It is my understanding that they use old sweat socks and dirty draws instead of real tobacco.

When I became a non-smoker (as distinct from simply quitting), Winston Lights (gold package) were under $3 a pack. I believe the smoothest "full-flavor" filter cigarette I ever smoked was L&M, but they were hard to find; the harshest were Camel filters.

Cardiac arrhythmia made me lose interest in smoking; becoming a non-smoker cleared it up for nearly 9 years, until I was recently forced to ride in a van full of smokers for a week. I began experiencing PVCs at the rate of three or four a minute.
I had stated my objections about smoking in my presence, but smokers, in general, are incorrigibly inconsiderate sh;ts (I know that personally, because I was an inconsiderate, heavy smoking sh;t for over 30 years).

Getting away from the tobacco smoke has cleared it up (it's the carbon monoxide, I believe).

You haven't had a bad cigarette until you try Seven Star from Japan.
Some tourist in Waikiki gave me one. It was like smoking dried rotten lettuce leaves in a tube. Left an ugly smoked lettuce aftertaste. I gave him one of mine, then he went and got himself some Marlboros.

Well here's a newsflash for all you smokers.
They have finally come out with an electronic cigarette. E cigarettes don't have the harmful toxins that are contained in regular cigarettes.

Makes me want to take up smoking again.

Nicotine, water, "flavorings" and...PROPYLENE GLYCOL! Nothing like inhaling some vaporized anti-freeze, eh? And what's in those "flavorings"? That's where many of the most harmful ingredients in cigarettes come from - all the tasty additives they mix in with the 'tabacky'. Not to mention it looks like it comes from China - land of exported hazardous wasdte.

This sounds a lot like that RJ Reynolds thing a couple years back - 1988, then again in the 1990's with the same level of non-success. That one had a catalytic heating element in it and also had propylene glycol vaporized to simulate the smoke. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Premier_cigarette
Tasted like any number of nasty ingredients from charcoal to burnt clay...in no way did it even taste anything like a cigarette and also cost considerably more for a pack.
A good waste of $325 million in R&D though, huh?

It could be compared to having sex with a Coca-Cola machine or something along those lines...just about as non-intuitive and unsatisfying. I don't expect these would be much different. ROFL!

Though I have never tried them...... I'd have to imagine the worst cigarette would have to be the HORSE SH!T cigarettes they sell down in Mexico..... Though they are great for a gag gift.....
I cannot think of a "best", though I have been leaning toward the natural brands that are being produced without all of the other extra chemicals.
Natives is the brand name I have been able to aquire and at half the price than popular brands.

Well, where I live I can get Marlboros for $31 plus tax a carton, however.

Camels of any kind are without a doubt the worst, and most nasty tasting cigarette.

However I didnt think it was possible for me to love smoking more then I already did till I found my More Menthol 120s. Every since then I have been twice as obsessed with smoking as before, and I shall never quit for any reason. In fact I do everything I can to convince non-smokers to take up the habit.

I hate all of them and inhaling that crap. Meh. Dislike. Strong dislike. I don't mind people smoking, but do it down-wind please.

I am curious about this one thing...electronic cig. What is it? Anyone try it? It looks kindof stupid, but...?

you want to be careful with cheap cigarette ~ smoking is hard enough on the body without smoking "sweep" ~ tabacco that left over and sweep up off the floor.

I smoke.

It costs me a small fortune and doesn't do me any good.

I used to swear I'd never give up, but now I dom want to give them up and it's really hard.

So I agree.

The worst cigarette is the first and the best is the last.

Best cigarette I had was during an open house at college.
It made me loopy for some reason. I think it was spiked with something. D:

Worst was Sago cigarettes. They are made on a reservation, and although they aren't bad, they had to be re-lit repeatedly for some strange reason. We were trading 3 packs of Sagos for 1 pack of DuMaurier because of how frustrating it was. This was over 10 years ago, so no offense to any folks on the reserve that make em.

I roll my own.

Really, give it a shot! It tastes different! WHY?
They don't put additives in a lot of Roll Your Own products and it tastes CLEANER!

I noticed for about 4 months that I was craving sugar when I switched. Now I do not.

The BIG plus is.. You can get all types of fine tobacco.

Another big plus.
It takes me only about 3 hours to roll a carton of smokes.
I'm never out of smokes.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++

I only pay EIGHTY NINE CENTS for a PACK!

First, smoking is the greatest habit ever, and I think everyone should do it!

Best- The first
worst- the last (mine will come on the day I die!)

There are very few things in life I enjoy as much as smoking.
