| The Toilet seat thing!!! Posted: 1/13/2005 1:47:01 PM | The differnece between men and women with reguards to the toilet seat:
Men are used to having to use their keen powers of observatin to watch what they are doing in and around the toilet (though hopefully more 'in' than 'around'). Men also understand that with a woman around the house, the state of the toilet seat will be in flux, and they accept this - becoming at one with the universe. No assumptions will be made about the state of the toilet seat by a man who is in tune with the universe. Women who expect the toilet seat to always be down are denying the fundamental reality that nothing remains constant in the universe, and all things are subject to change. It is not our duty to force the state of the toilet seat to be 'up' or 'down' but rather to accept it for what it is, only changing it's orientation to suit our immediete need....

Hardly kiss ass. The whole gyst is leave the control issues about keeping the seat down at the door, and let the seat fall where it may.

Posted: 1/13/2005 6:51:15 PM | Hey, just in case you females don’t know most males have “Bottomed” out on the toilet with the seat up too, as well as sitting on a wet seat too. Guess that begs another question or two, about memory retention abilities, but not to me because I am running for the cover of my “Rock”, coward that I am…………

| The Toilet seat thing!!! Posted: 1/13/2005 7:17:33 PM | LOL at this thread!
I read a statistic somwhere on the number of germs spread through the air if the toilet is flushed with the lid up & was so grossed out! I'e always closed the lid on the toilet & would ask anyone more than a guest to do the same in my house. Mind you I also have a young child & I don't need experiments of toys being flushed down the toilet! (though I'm sure they will come soon enough!) That being said, have never complained about it & have put it back up after being in a guys' place, lol!

| The Toilet seat thing!!! Posted: 1/13/2005 7:23:12 PM | | If the lid is up the germs will spread 6 - 12 feet away from the toilet. It's what we learned when we were getting licensed for daycare. So our toilet lid is 90% of the time..DOWN and it gets bleached every week - two weeks. | |

| The Toilet seat thing!!! Posted: 1/14/2005 5:05:05 PM | Hey girls: try reverse psychology! Go to the bathroom, then put the seat back up! Keep that going, eventually the guy will start to put it down. Later on, he might even put it down to pee. In the end, it'll always be down, and you can tell all your friends you actually trained a man to pee sitting down!! It's just an idea...!! | |

Posted: 1/14/2005 5:22:07 PM | | I hate cleaning toilets. *gags* I'll clean the shower, sink and tub before I do the toilet....cuz in my house you don't use no toilet brush...my mom cleaned houses for 15 years so she always made us do it with Pine Sol, or Comet, and a rag...ewie...cold and ewie...

| The Toilet seat thing!!! Posted: 1/14/2005 5:37:26 PM | | If it were meant to stay down it would not be able to go up. Guys look before they pee, why can't women look before they sit? | |
