I figured everyone is racist to some degree and anyone who says they aren't is a liar of the 1st degree. Society seems to be built around stereotypes, and it certainly likes to propagate them; there's a stereotype for everything under the sun.
I wasn't born her, I was just unlucky enough to be brought here in 1980 by my parents, and just never left. But I grew up and live at the beach, and that is a bit different than living in the rest of Jax - when you grow up 200 yards from Lake Atlantic, you don't really pay too much attention to what takes place on the other side of the ditch - there have literally been periods of 5 or 6 years where I never even crossed the ditch.
