Here's a neat little thing I read in my understanding human sexuality class (had to pick a gen ed, might as well pick that one, it was the most interesting by far):
When a woman masturbates she releases hormones that don't get released any other way. Sex doesn't do it. The neat thing is that this hormone (don't recall the name but it was in a textbook so you can probably look it up pretty easy) is used by the body to make skin a little younger looking. I'm not a biologist so don't ask me anything about this but it seemed to me that if women knew it, they'd all do it all the time.
As for guys, as far as i'm concerned, any healthy male does it. If he doesn't admit it it's because he's shy, too macho or actually believes the stuff religion and such says about going blind, etc. From what i've been able to observe, the buildup of anything in a man just makes him more aggresive which might be fine but could also lead to trouble. Release, it's all good.
