It's not a matter of kenetic attraction
The pull for me is on every level
Above and beyond what I've ever known
Sparks and I'd say solar flares
Beauty like hearing a song that takes you away
I could listen for hours
Soul so bright and warm
She opened my eyes and began to thaw my heart
Experienced 4th dimensional Love

Memory

Shadow in periphery
Wafted scent stirring memory
Paused mid-task
Taken back

Eyes see nothing present
Movie plays inward
Smile curves
Lids flutter closed

Breathe deep
Remembered embrace
Laughter echoes
Joy relived

Smash The Glass

All my life I've paid the price
And got nothing to show for it
Except a life of parallel
Fortune's paid
Debt's resolved
I'm in it for personal gain
Materialistic narcissicist
Iconoclast robot insect
Outcast to the social colonies of Earth
So many people out there
All waiting to be the same
Fitting into the social scene
A human disease most are infected

Words

One word
Chosen in haste
Uttered unremarkably

Faltering smile covers a pounding heart
Doubt gathers and crowds a mind
Searching for meaning in a meaningless word

Another word
Chosen with care
Uttered with purpose

Replacing unease with clarity
Window opened to the day
Doubt flies to another roost

Like fire and brimstone
Her words cut deep
Piercing my defenses
If only she would reflect
Me better then everyone
When she was the one preaching self gospel
She so highly educated
she so well off
She so much better
She in such high regards
A friend I do still think

Choice of the matter
No matter how hard we try
We can't escape the gravity
Between You and I
You the Atom
Me the negatively charged electron
the simplest form
Building blocks I'd say
Such good friends I can't even say
We're so much more
But at the same time only best friends

Waiting

Birdsong , background for my thoughts
Wind’s touch an absent caress
Sun’s heat a mark on my skin
Scent of life a stirring of soul.

You fill my mind
You fill my heart
You fill my head
My spirit holds you close

Sad now
Yearning
Wondering
Waiting for you to see

I stand outside, hesitating
Foot poised to step
Halted by pride
Fettered by doubt to the ground

Theres nothing like sharing a day with a good friend.
Enjoying the moments that seem to never end.
Listening to words that seem to make everything right
I thankyou for the day and for your friendship...goodnight

Once

If, for once, I kept out the cold
I banished the dark
I trusted the light
Even with my eyes closed

If, for once, I heard
Heard
Not just listened
Even with my ears covered

If, for once, I believed
No doubt
No question
With my heart

If, for once, you felt
A love
A truth
Within your heart

For once, I loved
For once, I believed
For once, I trusted,
For once, there was you.

Life was pretty good in the garden
The spider left the fly alone
But the spider was satisfied in the bargain
The birds knew all about the bees
And then I drew a picture in the margin … (you have to imagine a picture in the margin of the page, of course)

The slug was not at home
There were a coupl-a trees
They didn’t drive while on the phone
Everyone remembered to say ‘please’
Yep, life was pretty good in the garden

...damn that's silly

I like Norton, he's my cat
He's black and white, loveable and fat.

deep and lyrical I ain't

Seriously, I need help. I wrote that a long while ago, to entertain some kids. They come up to me still as adults and ask if Norton is still alive.

Cheers, Raven

"Another Love Burned"

Tender thoughts
How can I put them to rest
Divisions of love
Spread way too thin
Baseline mood
Not all is lost
Life lesson learned
Another love burned
Empty space to fill
Too packed with loneliness
That regret eats me up
Inside a torrent sea of despair
Along the calm horizon
I see a bright future
_______________________________________

The Girl I Can't yet touch
Like a hard winters night
My heart left cold
Blistering with love
Not in the position to say the feelings my heart does beat
With all the aches and pains of an unknown world
One that exists in my dreams
Cupids arrow missed by a heart beat
Stuck within an uneasy position
Love the girl I can not touch
To be her friend till death and rebirth reunits us
_______________________________________

Shiny thoughts
On the wheel of confusion
Contemplating
Seeping through disillusion
I’m just an anthropoid
Without guidance
Hormone driven C.P.U.
Upgrading is so ****ing hard
The things you have to say
And do against one’s will
How long will I survive
Breaking the code
_______________________________________

4 Years Past(Seems Like A Life Time)

It’s easier said than done
Never miss a chance to tell someone you love them
Uneducated at the time
When it came to matters of the heart
Lost my innocence and realized
The past is faded and future clouded
Connections lost, redefined and strengthened
Looking back with eagle eye sight
I’ve seen the wrongs I committed
The errors I chose
Pulchritude and I really couldn’t see it
Enamored and didn’t know I felt it
If I knew what I know now
Would I have changed it?
Would it have changed me?
My past choices made me who I am today
Could I have survived if I was me back then?
Never knew I had a good thing
Until I gave it up
Lost eye sight
Regret
Thoughts of a past that I can’t change
**** I hate the current theory of the universe

The Wish

I long for your touch, that long forgotten embrace.

I long for the way, the sun shines upon your face.

I long for your scent, that reminds me I'm not alone.

I long for your words, that remind me that I'm home.

I long for your eyes, that see me for who I am.

I long for the woman, that will be there where I stand.

I long for the night, turning into day.

I long for the woman, that makes me want to stay.

I long for the day, that turns softly into night.

I long for a woman, that makes me feel alright.

I long for your kiss, to help me through this life.

I long for the woman that won't give up the fight.

This was a funny little joke after a friend and I had after a somewhat drunken discussion on whether or not carrots had a concept of armageddon. perhaps this could be in contention for the worst poem award.

We sit snug in earth who has blessed us with this soil,
brought the sun and the rain and freed us from toil
Life is good in this garden and free of the turmoil
that plagues the blood creatures and the world they despoil

but the summer has passed and we feel winters approaches
not knowing the harvest and it's slaughter encroaches
and now nothing is safe from the all consuming sky gods
that shake rattle the earth and have already martyred the pea pods

but the potatoes speak of a savior and we're impressed by their insistance
that he will deliver us all if we but chant his name with persistence.
Now the hour draws near and some begin to doubt his existence
asking for proof they cannot think of one instance

so we stand strong embrace the earth and accept our fate
dropping our seeds deep for the spring we await.

Can I say
You make me smile,
When no one is looking
And you say I'd be a great woman,
If we weren't so far apart

Although there are others alike myself,
This I am sure of
Tell me, how is it
I am not to take your words to heart?

And tell me how it is,
That it's not black and white tonight
Tell me, that wasn't us at midnight,
With your hands upon my thighs
And you weren't looking through me
with those chocolate eyes

Tell me, we weren't only by chance,
It wasn't just play, but a little romance
That those candles were meant to burn
-and you'd be soon to learn
That I'd be burning at both ends since that time
We lay there drenched in wine

But that rain,
It got us everytime
Tell me a time,
When my touch felt like hers
What a convenience I've created for you
I'm dying for subject change
I've done all I can do
Standing here with my heart in my hand

Tell me
Who did you think I was?!
I'm a shifter of the shape I'm in
What was I thinking,
That you would love me too

Sorry I write odd poetry

I will not follow.

The world has changed in the last few years and just like everyone always knew the closer we come to the ending the faster it will all go. What can I tell you that one can not see each day on the news in the weather report's in your daily life as you live out your days. The world has changed a new age has dawned and just as the big bang once tossed everything outwards its now all spiraling back in.

There's blood on the streets in some of the oldest cities in the world our children are dying under the watchful eyes of butchers following mad men and war mongrels in oil rich lands enchanted by worries of the great deceiver the lord of lies.

Our offspring are living pointless lives they have no direction they have been lead there whole lives told what to do told what is safe what is dangerous they grow up fast on the internet but with no life skills hard to live with the knowledge the world is ending wars are brewing natures betraying them nothing but illness and death to look forward too.

Storms are waiting they can be seen brewing on the edge of our sight like darkness they are rising blackening the skies blocking out the future leaving there taint on the past as man turns against his brothers hunts like jackals killing there own because they are hungry the world can't feed them the world won't feed them and they refuse to starve.

A child dies nameless in a dirty ally she was searching the garbage looking for food to eat, she dies lonely she has no parents the solders took them killed them because they were fighting for freedom defending there home. She dies cold and hungry as tanks rumble by on the cobblestones she dies watching the future as a stray bullet takes her there are no tears its better, its all better.

I write so one voice can be heard above the madness the darkness, I write to stand before the storms in judgment one who will not follow.

SORRY TO INTRUDE INTO YOUR FORUMS JUST FOUND SOME INTERESTING SOME SAD. NOT GREAT AT WRITING MYSELF BUT WOULD LIKE TO SEND YOU ALL THIS ONE TO PULL TO PIECES. I CALL IT HOW MEN GET OUT OF HOUSEWORK

WENT TO HOOVER THE PALOUR AND FOUND A SPIDER ALL ALONE

TURNED AND LEFT HIM WITHOUT CLEANING. HE SEEMED SO AT HOME

LOOKED AT DIFRRENT THINGS AND MY EYES FOUND DUSTY SHELVES

SHALL LEAVE BECAUSE SOMEONE TOLD ME THAT WAS SNOW FOR ELVES

LOOKED AT MY IRONING SEEMS LIKE A RANGE OF MOUNTAINS TODAY

IF I LEAVE IT LONGER THE SPIDER AND ELVES MIGHT TAKE IT AWAY

CANT PUT ON THE WASHING BECAUSE IT STEALS ALL MY SOCKS

I’LL WEAR ALL THE ODD ONES, CHILDREN RECKON THAT ROCKS

THOUGHT ABOUT CLEANING THE WINDOWS THEN THOUGHT AGAIN

SAY WHAT IF I STARTED AND FELL OVER OH WHAT A BIG PANE!!!

SO I SAT DOWN AND ASKED THE ELVES AND SPIDER TO A CREAM TEA

SAID THEY WERE SPRING CLEANING WHICH MEANT MORE FOR ME

DON’T HAVE GUESTS MUCH THE LAST ONE DRANK THREE BOTTLES OF WINE

EMPTIED ME STOCK OUT HES NO LONGER A GOOD FRIEND OF MINE

HAD FRIENDS ROUND THOUGHT THEY WOULD GET POSH TEA

GOT THEM BOTH MCDONALDS BUT HEY THATS JUST ME

SYTAX NOUNS TICTACS VERBS DON’T EXPLAIN THEM TO ME

ALL I DO IS TRY AND WRITE ABOUT WHATS AROUND TO SEE.

WELL GOOD READER I HAVE NOT TOLD THE TRUTH TO YOU AT ALL

CAME HOME AND DID THE HOOVERING AS DOG PLAYED WITH BALL

THE IRONING HAS BEEN TURNED ITNO AN AVOULANCH SO FLAT

MY LITTLE FRIEND WATCHED FASCINATED AS SILENTLY HE SAT

THE KITCHEN AND BATHROOMS THERE SORTED OUT TOO

WHEN I CAME HOME TODAY I CLEANED THE HOUSE THROUGH

BUT NOW IT SEEMS COLD AND STERILE A HOUSE BUT NOT HOME

I THINK SOMETIMES YOU GET SUCH STRANGE THOUGHTS WHEN ALONE..

The dead rotting were they have fallen half eaten faces empty eye sockets the stink of death the stink of the dyeing the fallen the victims the screams the cries bombs keep falling the horizon burns red the ground hard packed frozen puddles of blood.

Men and machines ride out for glory as automatic weapons fire mortars dropping everywhere, mines underfoot. The screaming can you hear the screaming above the bombs can you hear the screaming such a broken sound.

Your gods have betrayed there human sheep where are they, you asked for peace for love they gave you war they turned loose death they sent the bombs the fire storms the stink of the dying that ****ing screaming someone stop the screaming.

Politicians said trust in us follows us we have forgotten what its like to wage war help us remember help us find death disease pestilence and war. The dying that ****ing screaming someone please stop that sound.

Love Is a Battle Field or so the song goes

So where does one buy the armor

That’s one thing no one knows

The best of love often has its clashes

It can make the love stronger

Or it can leave it in ashes

Who can it be said wins love’s fight

There can never be a winner and a loser

That never makes love right

Real cuts and wounds may never heal

Carrying the scars of love together

That is what makes life real

So my friends take heed

Should you ever do battle

The word perfect applies to neither you nor me

The One

I see her in my thoughts, like a burning candle flame.
I see her in my dreams, I'm lost without a name.

A simple smell reminds me, of all the things I've lost.
A simple sound reminds me, of all the hidden cost.

Walking in sorrow, I now know what to do.
Afterall a fish is only A buck or two.

With eyes open
With Words spoke
Ringing with the unknown truth
You are that Girl
Inspiration in all it's form
Measure of the gap
Distance of the heart
Wishing for something that already was
The intangible tangible
Mark of desire
It is a two way street on a one way road
Collision avoidance or heart felt impact
Merger of vices
Acceptance of feelings

I've been writing since april,8,1994 =)x

I've been bitten by this lovely Vixen
She doesn't know how deep her vampiric teeth have sunk
Into my Heart
Into my Soul
She knows me as well as a stranger
Having said hello but twice
Wishing to change from distant stranger to upclose friend
Beauty in such a Goddess shaped mold
Venus with arm's
The whose Heart I wish I could touch
_________________________________________________________

Looking for that Woman
Wheather drunk or sober she'd look the same to me
Beauty internal radiating out
Eternally Shining
In awe of her presence
In respect of herself
The perfect form of light, body and shadow
_________________________________________________________

The experiment between you and I
Equations of the sum
I do give a damn about your feelings
But I can't do this math alone
Many angles to this point singularity
So many complex facets
A constant work in progress living on the same page
Such beauty I sense when your around
Sinful bliss or outright ignorance
Loving the bond we do share
Fate based random happenstance
Flip of the coin 6 billion times
Roll of the dice and uphill battle
Your worth the work it took to get us here
_________________________________________________________

Fact of the matter
A matter of Heart
The matter at hand
I want someone to come home to
Home is where one's Heart is
Heart of the matter
Center of the Heart where emotions like diamonds are formed
Under intense pressure
A lasting bond is delt
