| Foods That Make You Go EEEEEEK ! Posted: 8/31/2006 6:20:43 PM | This is an easy one! Any frozen prepared meal. Blaaaaat! Any "helper" meal. Anything that's "heat and eat" YUCK! What garbage. Have tried but won't eat, liver, brains, toung, heart or chitlins. (fried chitlins are okay once every 10 years or so)
Feed me squid, octopus, calf fries (mountain oysters from a calf) sashimi, duck, pork, beef, VEAL, or fish with FRESH veggies and I'm a happy boy!

Brussel sprouts are also gross.

| Foods That Make You Go EEEEEEK ! Posted: 9/1/2006 9:45:40 PM | | Oh yeah - I've never tried it, but it smells worse than anything .... kimchee. And why wouldn't it? It's just rotten cabbage. | |

| Foods That Make You Go EEEEEEK ! Posted: 9/1/2006 9:56:13 PM | Speaking of cabbage, I cannot stand corned beef and cabbage. ICK.
Bloodwine is a Klingon drink from the Star Trek series.

| Foods That Make You Go EEEEEEK ! Posted: 9/2/2006 4:06:01 AM | McDonald's hamburgers. I swear that when you ask for no onions, they just scrape them off. I found an onion on my burger once. I wasn't a happy camper and they're just lucky that I was back at work. And they still taste like onions. I get too suspicious, convinced they just scrape them off. I stick with their chicken burgers.
Obviously onions. I cannot eat anything that has onions. Or onion taste. It just sickens me to no end and food will end up spat out if I find onions on it. Growing up, I was told that there was no taste to onions, you couldn't see them. Wanna bet? I'm like the official food inspector. I paw through my food with a fine tooth comb.
Kentucky Fried Chicken. Greasy, slimy, just absolute disgustingness.
That's all that I can think of for now...but you know, the fried tarantula actually sounds kinda interesting...
Edit--Fish. Yuck, yuck, yuck, yuck. I hate going by the fish department in the grocery store. You can just see their innocent little heads, dead. It isn't fair. I always feel SO bad. And it smells and it's disgusting.
I also cannot eat deer meat. Always makes me think of "Bambi". I have relatives who live in the country and they always used to give us deer meat. Bastards. Sometimes my parents would make me think it was steak or something, knowing that I didn't like deer. That movie touched me.
And I also don't like rabbit either.

| Foods That Make You Go EEEEEEK ! Posted: 9/2/2006 5:08:14 PM | | I'm pretty lucky, I like almost any food out there. But porridge...cream of wheat....anything like that....yuck! I get it in my mouth and my throat clenches. Must be the texture. I would love to be able to eat it too....the idea of a warm, hearty breakfast is appealing. My Scottish ancestors I'm sure are turning over in their graves "she won't eat porridge?!?!" Haha! | |

| Foods That Make You Go EEEEEEK ! Posted: 9/3/2006 6:30:35 PM | I don't think about the deer's face when I eat venison any more than I think of the cow's face when I eat a cheeseburger. These animals were put on the Earth to be EATEN.
Bambi. That's what's for dinner

Kim Chee isn't rotten cabbage, it's pickled cabbage and it's delicious, especially the hot and spicy type- yum!! Brussel Sprouts are the best vegie!!!

| Foods That Make You Go EEEEEEK ! Posted: 9/4/2006 7:41:32 PM | Okay I just goggled balut and all I have to say is, whoever, however many hundreds of years ago, looked at that and said to himself/herself, "yummy, gotta get me some of that". Seriously needed their head read.
Aside from that, can't get oysters passed my nose but other then that, I am good to go.

| Foods That Make You Go EEEEEEK ! Posted: 9/5/2006 9:38:34 AM | Even the most foul sh!te can be made palatable with a hearty sprinkling of necessity...
The only things I've come across that I can't eat are mushrooms and poultry fat; they just don't make it past my throat. There are some things I would prefer to avoid, of course. Many people die of starvation in the woods every year; and not because of lack of food. And yes, sure, man can survive without meat. Did you know that most plants require around 60 nutrients to grow properly? Did you know that farmers put three (yep, three) nutrients back into the soil? Hmmm... do some math... What's wrong with eating meat? I understand and agree with conservation. I can't understand, however, people who refuse to eat a food animal on the ground that they're "cute". Have you ever been around a herd of cows? They're most definitely not cute. Neither are fowl. They're food; if we don't eat them, something else will. That's nature; natural selection, and survival of the fittest. I get a kick out of vegans who try to force their opinions and beliefs on others; "You can't eat that; it had a FACE!!" I tell them "I'd eat you if I was hungry enough; you're made of meat, and would taste great with barbeque sauce" and smile wickedly. That usually makes them run away...

| Foods That Make You Go EEEEEEK ! Posted: 9/6/2006 6:50:10 AM | You can also tease vegans with these: heads of lettuce, ears of corn, artichoke hearts, and potato eyes. LOL! | |

| Foods That Make You Go EEEEEEK ! Posted: 9/9/2006 8:34:23 AM | You guys are cracking me up.
Meat eater here, and never think about the faces. The only reason I won't eat venison is because I don't like it. I mostly stick with chicken, but I like everything else, too.
I don't have a problem with people who don't eat meat. Everyone has their own opinions.
Dating a vegan is another story .... one guy didn't eat meat, dairy, or anything cooked in a microwave. Next!

| Foods That Make You Go EEEEEEK ! Posted: 9/10/2006 9:57:14 AM | I can't eat anything if it's got hot fruit in it. Ham and Pineapple pizza-YUCK! Same for hot fruit pie. I'll watch it get cold before I eat it. Raisins in anything is gross too-soft and mushy. Raisins by themselves is fine. Even fruit flavoured and hot sounds gross to me, like orange chicken or mango chutney on something hot.
Also not big on chicken or duck feet. Not because they taste bad but because they are just skin and bones and it just feels gross to eat it.
And cantalope...foul
I dated a guy for years who refused to eat tomatoes, mushrooms, onions or peppers. Boy, he made it tough to cook dinner. Could find those veggies in food regardless of how tiny I cut them up...
