| They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day... do you agree... what did you have today? Posted: 4/13/2006 6:48:41 AM | There are some interesting food combinations for breakfast.
I do believe breakfast is the most important meal of the day, as it was said, it jump starts your system and the day. Unfortunately I usually find I do not have time. I love my sleep, every extra 5 or 10 minutes I can get.
At the moment I have lots of time off, so I have been having fruit smoothies in the morning. Very filling.
1 banana 3-4 strawberries 1 kiwi 3 tbsp vanilla yogurt splash of milk 3 ice cubes squirt of honey
mix in the blender and drink while surfing the net.
Think I will go make one now.

Posted: 4/27/2006 8:05:59 AM | | I had 8 stalks of fresh picked Asparagus, chopped into 1 inch pieces, sauteed in margarine in an iron skillet, then three eggs poached on top, with a slice of Velveeta cheese melted on top. A glass of apple juice and it was a very good start to the day. Is this normal, no way, but not abnormal either. About 1/3 the time I do something like this, often it's raisin bran and powdered milk, or two oranges and a peanut butter sandwich.

Posted: 4/27/2006 4:14:54 PM | | Oh yeah, no coffee, only had one cup and two teaspoons full my entire life. The teaspoons mom gave me when I was 7 and curious, one black one cream and sugar... Yukk. The cup, about 10 years ago, it was cold, we came into restaurant after working in the snow all morning. friend ordered coffee, they brought two cups, I doctored it up with cream and sugar and it wasn't bad. I have made thousands of gals of it in a restaurant when I was a teen, they said I made good coffee, I replied, I clean the pot, and follow directions on the package. I love the smell of it, it was expensive when I was in College, when most pick up the habit. Late night studying, I felt sleep was more important. I drink tea, so it's not a caffeine thing, just got this far without it, why not go the rest of the way.

Made of course with fat free pam spray.
- Sliced tomatoes
- One cup of fat free skimmed milk
- One cup of red seedless grapes
- One bottle of water
I always start of great.....the rest of the day can get challenging especially if I'm on the road.
