I wear my hair long, because I like it like that. Wash and go. Easy, peasy.

I used to only like short hair on men, but some do look attractive with it long.

I don't like balding men, with long hair, though. It's so wrong!

My hair will always be long, I've had it short before and it just doesn't do what I want it to and looks silly.

For guys I love short or shaved hair, can't deal with long hair on a bloke. I once had mine cut to a couple of inches long with grade 1 up the back and I prefer guys with shorter hair than that.

I love to see long hair on a woman. But as long as the haircut suits them and their face/bonestructure i dont mind if its long or short.
But there is something so sexy about the way long hair looks and moves..

I wear mine long.Because i like it long, its about halfway down my back, and because it seems to get on some folks wires Its blond, mostly ,and very fine and i mostly wear it tied back in a ponytail.

And i am neither gay nor a treehugger. I just dont like my hair short.

Well mine seems to get to collar length then starts curling back up again and it's murder in the wind at the moment I came off Brighton Pier at the weekend looking like Ken Dodd. I love women with naturally long hair I went out with a girl for awhile who had really nice long hair.

Mine keeps getting shorter. I'm getting it even shorter at the weekend. A bit like Sarah Hardings from Girls Aloud.

My fella had really long hair before I met him and I couldn't believe the difference looking back at pics but I would still be with him whatever as it wasn't long enough to cover his scrummy scrummy bum...

I prefer short hair styles for women as it tends to open up and accentuate the face and neck rather than hide or detract from them.

I seem to repeatedly be attracted to men with a shaved head but they do have to have the face to carry it off.

I myself have had short hair for a couple of years now and have converted some strictly long hair men to the ways of the short haired woman.

Dancer, thought of you when I read the post above you before you posted (if you see what I mean).....

Personally, couldnt do short hair, my head/face is too big. Not petite enough for the gamine, elf look that others do so well. And conversely, my hair wont grow much past shoulder length so am always an in between sort of person.

As for men, do reeeealllly love a shaven headed man. Very very sexy....

I've never managed to get my hair really long. Partly because it just doesn't grow ast enough and partly because sooner or later I get naffed off with it and cut it all off. So mine goes between about shoulder length and about an inch long. Currently it's long.

On a bloke, I really don't care as long as he wears it well. I used to work with a bloke whose hair was in a sort of pageboy cut, except that he was bald as a coot on top. It was just wrong.
As long as he looks like a bloke, it's fine with me.

Because dear loiterer once one gets to mature years it starts to thin, receed, go bald, so many shave it off completely. When ones hair becomes less than full then long just looks very very silly.

You lot are absolutely no help whatsoever!

I have to get my hair cut this week, and it is either get the ends and the layers trimmed to go all wavy...or have it cut short.

Reading your responses is no help in the decision.

On men, don't worry about the length (or quantity)...as long as it is clean and not unkempt. And he does not spend more time (and products) doing it than me.

Long or Short hair?

I would say it depends on the individual. The shape of the face and size of your head. I generally think longer hair is sexy on a woman.Thats not always the case though, for example the dancer lady [mssg 111] really suits her hair short because of the shape of her face and she's also quite pretty. I seen a girl a while ago in town with a completely shaved head and she was absolutely stunning, I mean beautiful. I think for a woman to be able to carry that style off and look good she would have to be exceptionally beautiful to begin with. I can think of only two off the top of my [bald] head, that would be, Sinead O Connor and Demi Moore in G.I. Jayne.

I think for men they generally look better with quite short tidy hair. I think theres an age limit to where you can get away with silly fringes and spiking it up etc. Older guys with long hair isn't really cool, particularly if they are thinning or bald . Ponytails on top of that are just criminal or should be. If your going bald or thin keep it as short as possible. If you've got a little pea head then perhaps a Shaven head is not for you.
Some people can look emancipated like a P.OW. If you've got a big fat , round ,heavy head like myself and your going thin then shave it to the wood is my advice.
Any guys thinking of dying, bleaching, colouring there hair , think again, its not a good idea generally IMHO.

i prefer my hair long, always have, just thank god for ghd,s but i think long hair on ladies looks awful if not looked after, i know someone who has never cut her hair, shes 30, hair past her knees, but its thin and split, never shines, and as for me, i like short, neat hair or shaven heads on guys with one exception......................dave grohl is a sex god!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have had long hair since I was a kid, so I couldn't really think of having anything else.

If you go to music college you tend to be in the minority if you have short hair.

I love longer hair on men,but why is it they always play in a band? Not that I mind that, but it does seem the two go together for some reason.Anyway back to the point,I have no idea why,but I just find men more attractive with longer hair, clean hair is a must though!

When I had a real job I spent years having to have a professional neat hair cut. Now I prefer to have it long. My attitude is that I may as well grow it whilst I still have the ability to do it.
