i didnt say he was smart, but remember he does not have the power to go to war. congress does and instead of getting pissed at him why not the 500+ congressmen who voted for the war. bush is only a represenative of our nation and giving a bad rep at that but he does not declare war, congress does, much the same as he cannot levy taxes.

i voted for nader because both bush and kerry sucks. but regardless will choosing eny of them help? kind of a crappy choice if you ask me, kerry cant keep to his word, bush cant give a speech and nader? hes well... hes just nader.

FOR THE RECORD..........neo-cons...DONT READ THIS!!!!!

The intelligence of our presidents has never been seriously scrutinized at any time in our history until now. There is a widespread perception that President G. W. Bush is not qualified for the position he holds. That increasing awareness by the people has led to a study of the intellectual ability of all presidents for the past fifty years. There have been twelve presidents in that time, from F. D. Roosevelt to G. W. Bush. All were rated based on scholarly achievements, writings that they alone wrote, their ability to speak effectively, and a number of psychological factors. The conclusions of the study, conducted by an independent think tank located in Scranton, Pennsylvania were surprising. This think tank includes high caliber historians, psychiatrists, sociologists, scientists in human behavior, and psychologists. Among their ranks are Dr. Werner Levenstein, world-renowned sociologist, and Professor Patricia A. Williams, a world-respected psychiatrist. All members of the think tank are experts at being able to detect a person's IQ from the criteria stated earlier. After four months of research, these learned men and women have determined the IQs of each president within a range of five percentage points. The IQs listed below are the norms for each president.

147 Franklin D. Roosevelt (D) 132 Harry Truman (D) 122 Dwight D. Eisenhower (R) 174 John F. Kennedy (D) 126 Lyndon B. Johnson (D) 155 Richard M. Nixon (R) 121 Gerald Ford (R) 175 James E. Carter (D) 105 Ronald Reagan (R) 099 George HW Bush (R) 182 William J. Clinton (D) 091 George W. Bush (R)

The non-partisan researchers who evaluated the twelve presidents determined that the six Republican presidents for the past 50 years had an average IQ of 115.5, with President Nixon having the highest IQ, at 155. President G. W. Bush was rated the lowest of all the Republicans with an IQ of 91. The six Democrat presidents had IQs with an average of 156, with President Clinton having the highest IQ, at 182. President Lyndon B. Johnson was rated the lowest of all the Democrats with an IQ of 126. The margin of error is plus or minus five percent. This study was initiated on February 13, 2001 and completed on June 17, 2001. This study validated the widespread feeling of people about the sitting president. President Bush was rated low because of his inability to command the English language, his lack of any scholarly achievements, and an absence of anything authored by him that would reflect an intellectual effort." --"Jennifer Borenstein, Baskerville News Service, 6/28/01"

You are right Rhiannon. All I know about you is that you support an idea that USED to accept people with different ideas and that USED to embrace the idea of difference. I also know that Saddam Hussein was causing far more deaths (Like 386% more if my memory serves) than our war has even THOUGHT to have caused. Also, I don't see the "compassionate" left crying out for the 68,000 soldiers that died at Gettysburg in ONE DAY, but the thousand lives that were tragically lost in this 3 YEAR endevour are just attrocious. I'm not advocating more death, I'm just saying that only 1000 lives in 3 years of war is a pretty amazing feet. But the liberal media would have you believe otherwise.

Also, the war is about oil. Don't you see the oil prices? This revolution in the oil industry is going to lead to its DESTRUCTION. Haven't you seen the future in automobile technology? Hybrid and alternative fuel cars are popping up all over the place. Plus, with the war still going on, several thousand oil wells have been SHUT DOWN causing the oil company stock that Bush, Cheney and all the rest of the world have to PLUMMIT!!! The truth of the matter is, if Bush was thinking about oil, he would have struck up a treaty with Saddam, not overthrown him.

They discovered in UK that oil from fish and chip shops powered cars a couple of years ago...which was pretty funny...

not pleasant to smell fish and chips coming out of exhausts, but, plenty of people were doing it...

Wow, only 5 months in office and people could already make an accurate guess on Georgy's IQ... Well, folks, the fact of the matter is, he received a bachelor's degree from Yale University in 1968, then served as an F-102 fighter pilot in the Texas Air National Guard. They don't let just anyone fly those 4 million dollar peice of machinery. President Bush received a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School in 1975. Seems like a pretty intellegent guy to me...

Swiftcut, the entire Houston, Texas branch of the United States Postal Service fleet of vehicles is powered by Propane. I thought that was pretty cool.

bigfunnyguy that is pretty cool, what do they get on mileage? or how far can you go on a 5 gallon propane tank or somthing like that.

Hey Rhiannon, I'm not following every post on this thread so I'm hoping that that last post of yours was directed at someone other than me. I would never insult the child of someone I didn't know. I don't see anywhere in my posts that might be construed as an insult to your child, but if you did happen to intepret some statment of mine in that mannor, I apologise whole heartedly. I did not mean it that way at all. That is just low, and anyone who would do that is not human.

If it wasn't anything I said, then you go get 'em girl!
