When I think of them I think ofthe TALL Scandinavian Female Angels (Valkyries)
who took the Vikings who fell in combat to VALHALLA. The fallen warriors would fight each by day and feasted and fornicated with the Valkyries by night in their Nordic version of heaven. Thor would chase after the Giantesses (think the TALL BLONDE in the Deuce Bigalo film) in Russia and in the Scandinavian countries.
I am a secure man and adore both the tall chicks and the muscle bound women.
Making comparisons with the animal world, so what if I look like a Jack Russel Terrier with a Pitt Bull (or Rottweiler, or Great Dane) of a woman.

Ash, all due respect, but there is a lot of difference between being relatively muscular and being manly, unless it goes way to the extreme. Then it can be a bit of turn-off. But I have seen few female bodybuilders who appear manly. Usually, within limits, it is an enhancement of the gender it applies to. Hence muscular women actually seem to have enhanced femininity. There is nothing in the rule-book that says a woman has to be soft to be feminine.
Also, women who become muscular tend to develop other masculine traits in addition to physical ones, which I don't think would appeal to men.
Being well sculpted doesn't suggest approaching the cross-gender line. I personally have seen no signs of this either, nor have I heard that. Being a former body-builder myself, (still do it but with lower intensity levels than in years past), I find it most admirable for a woman, and very sexy. Muscular legs especially, are very hard to beat.

A 6 feet tall woman at 175 pounds will look good. A 5 feet tall at 145 pounds will look like a ball. The proportion of height and width is the key.
Another thing is, if 100% healthy objectives are sought in the lifestyle, I say it is all good. On the other hand if steroids are used, it is a major turn-off. Male voices are for males and so is body hair. Nothing beats naturally produced testosterone. Steroids ragers, you want to stay away from.  | |

A dedicated bodybuilder is not just building mass but is SCULPTING ideal balance and symmetry. Judging is done for overall appearance, not for mere size.
Oddly, I have gotten a lot of bashing and hate mail on here about being "muscle bound", but no man who knows me in real life has had anything but praise for how my body looks. I think I would far rather listen to the people who have actually seen me rather than an anonymous "troll".

Wow, some of you are so closed-minded I can't believe it. There are so many other aspects of a woman's character, it seems silly to dwell on this.
The lovely woman who was my last intimate relationship was a weight lifter and bodybuilder, was 5'1" and maybe 105 lb, and was fabulous. We had a great time together, including sexually, so I would never refuse the opportunity if another similar woman came along. I enjoyed tremendously being out in public with here and seeing people admire her appearance--she was oblivious to it but I enjoyed pointing it out to her--plus I loved seeing her like that too. I felt proud we were together.
Because she was so ripped and light I could pick her up very easily, and she could handle it very easily as well, which greatly improved the sex. More variety and adventure--felt like a porn star even at 57. When she had orgasms (and I loved givin' 'em) she would do an isometric exercise for minutes at a time, stiff and hard and beautiful, glowing and ripped. Great to see and great to contribute to. Once, the next day she went out to her weight system, started to do her workout, and then said "f uc k, are you kidding me?" which made us both laugh and me feel real good to be able to be such a great substitute workout. (Yeah, I know, not really a substitute for a proper workout, but you get the idea.) There are other sexual benefits, too.
And I always felt (maybe wrongly) her strength gave her more confidence in defending herself, so she wasn't afraid--even before she knew that with my character nothing would ever happen. Just made the whole situation easier, more comfortable. Very feminine but very strong.
For a woman to take such pride in herself appeals to me a great deal, too. It is the opposite gender, anti-'couch potato' approach, and if she does it, or other physical activity, she deserves credit. Far better than many alternatives. Yep, I'll do it again.

A woman who is tight, fit, with muscles is not an issue for me. The only concern I have ever had regarding it, is when it is done to such an extreme, that the reduction in overall body fat takes away dramatically from certain enjoyable jiggly bits. Its not always the case, but it seems a shame to loose a perfectly enjoyable pair of lust pillows, in the pursuit of physical perfection.

Posted: 10/12/2006 1:04:58 PM | A woman who is muscular is great in my book, but that means that she is still femininely shaped and still has curves in the right places. When women lose that "soft" look and have to resort to implants to appear feminine at all, yuck.
I actually prefer larger women (I'm a big guy), but they should still have over 15% bodyfat. That's what makes you a woman as opposed to something androgenous.
EDIT: I read a post in another thread that sparked another way to describe it: if a full-figured woman is muscular and still has the classic hourglass shape and is otherwise extremely feminine, I don't think there would be many men who would consider her unattractive. The existance of a little cushion makes musclularity much easier to take (read: C-DD's and a nice backside). The plus is that she probably has a smoking set of legs to go along with them.
Also, I think women with muscular legs/thighs and a less-developed upper body appear more feminine. Who doesn't like a girl with a nice set of "dancer's legs"? | |
