Here's the brewery's web address:

Collins is better than Coors out of Clear Creek (I didn't name it) in Golden. Grossly overweight on New Years Day 2004 I switched to Bud Lt. and became a "social" beer drinker. I've got lots of friends with more exotic tastes, I just like what I like. Some Brew Pubs don't serve Bud Lt. I just drink water then.

Of all the funky beers I've had the good fortune of sampling, a Belgian beer by the name of LaTrappe 6% dark is my flavor favorite. A Czeck pilsner named Urkel is great when your not in a hurry or distracted.(It keeps bubbling for well over 15 minutes!) The absolutely worst beer that has crossed my lips is produced in Hamilton, Ontario and is named Truly Naked!? (My father, with his warped sense of humour, purchased not one, but two cases, during my recent visit to Sudbury) It was so bad, that my 6'5", 325# brotherinlaw and I couldn't even put a dent in the first case on a hot summer day.

Seriously though, the three best beers I ever had were....
1. Sam Smith's Old Brewery Bitter. (A Yorkshire beer that is brewed in slate vats with yeast that has been alive and happy for 500 years.) Used to get it at a really great pub in Sloane Square. Tell me again why I left England.
2. Boddington's Cream Ale. Not the stuff in the cans. The stuff you get in Manchester, England.
3. Mill Street Tankhouse Ale. If you think all beer tastes the same, you ain't had this stuff. It's got a very distinct flavour. The have a list of places you can get it on their website, http://millstreetbrewery.com/purchase.htm, but I had it at an Irish Pub called Dora Keogh on the Danforth. That's in Toronto, btw. lol.
Boy, all this typing is making me thirsty. Think I got down to the local.
Cheers. | |

Or if you want to get fancy, "La Fin Du Monde". It comes in a GIANT bottle, it's like 15% alcohol, and you can see the yeasty goodness floating around the inside of the giant bottle. It has a slight bite, with a sweet aftertaste. Yum.
But then again, if you are short on cash, theres nothin' tastier than a 40 of Steel Reserve. Just plug your nose. Like with NyQuil.
