| Morbid..but what song is a must to your good-bye Posted: 3/14/2007 1:27:12 PM | Ok...well the first one I'm gonna look for help on this... it is taken from Eclisiasties in the Bible... "A Time to Die, A Time to grow".... which we read at my grandfathers memorial service when I was a teenager...but I also know its a song from the 60's... It is such a beautiful reading and the song makes it happier and gives me hope... Which one is it and what group??
And of course the old stand by- Amazing Grace... any version... however when my Grandmother died in Ontario... my cousin Kim came to the hosptial after she had passed and played it on her Flute... apparently so many of the nurses and doctors on that floor were moved to tears because my cousing played it so beautifully to my Grandmother...I'm moved to tears now even...thinking of it when she played it again at my Grandmothers Memorial service.

... if I have a chance to say - kind of touchy subject to bring up without getting loved ones worried about my health/mental health

or if my family just wouldn't let me do that (they said they'd kill me twice if I did) I'd go with "Stairway to Heavan" by Zeppelin

| Morbid..but what song is a must to your good-bye Posted: 3/17/2007 5:38:34 PM | Okay I think I'm gonna get going on a soundtrack which will be a work in progress. So many good songs have been said already. Hmmmm, by the time I die it's gonna be a huge list... hopefully anyways.... lol
Lightning Crashes - Live Three Angels - Headstones Seasons In The Sun - covered by: Me First and the Gimme Gimmes < love them Time of Your Life - Greenday Superman's Song - Crash Test Dummies Take A Picture - Filter Burden In My Hand - Soundgarden Shine - Collective Soul
There will definately be some sad ones, but also some good rockin' tunes. I want it to be a celebration, with lots of good music, and an open mic for people to tell stories...
Like the G'n'R song above People Who Died - Jim Carroll Band It's A Long Way To The Top - AC/DC
And so many more... like I said, I'm starting a list for the soundtrack. But we won't be needing to hear it for a long, long time....
<<< looking out for me right?
