| Morbid..but what song is a must to your good-bye Posted: 3/21/2007 8:59:08 AM | Everybody loves me baby... what's the matter with you!
...and sometimes...
You're Never Gonna Get It... (whatever the title is...)
...and sometimes...
Unloved - Jan Arden
...and sometimes...
All By Myself... but I change the words to "All by myself... I'd rather be... all by myself..."

I always took this song as one about self loathing and inflicting pain in others. Just because it sounds sad doesn't mean its about grief and loss. But, hey, music is a personal thing and I guess people have their own reasons.

Was there something more I could have done? Or was I not meant to be the one? Where's the life I thought we would share? And why should I care?

Don't remember where I was I realized life was a game The more seriously I took things The harder the rules became I had no idea what it'd cost My life passed before my eyes I found out how little I accomplished All my plans denied
So as you read this know my friends I'd love to stay with you all Please smile when you think of me My body's gone that's all
A tout le monde A tout mes amis Je vous aime Je dois partir These are the last words I'll ever speak And they'll set me free
If my heart was still alive I know it would surely break And my memories left with you There's nothing more to say Moving on is a simple thing What it leaves behind is hard You know the sleeping feel no more pain And the living all are scarred
A tout le monde A tout mes amis Je vous aime Je dois partir These are the last words I'll ever speak And they'll set me free
So as you read this know my friends I'd love to stay with you all Please smile, smile when you think about me My body's gone that's all
A tout le monde A tout mes amis Je vous aime Je dois partir These are the last words I'll ever speak And they'll set me free
***A tout le monde (To all the world) A tout mes amis (To all my friends) Je vous aime (I love you) Je dois partir (I have to leave)

| Morbid..but what song is a must to your good-bye Posted: 5/11/2007 11:10:07 PM | I need to add "You'll Be There" by George Strait.
From the beginning of creation, I think our maker had a plan For us to leave these shores and sail beyond the sand And let the good light guide us through the waves and the wind To the beaches in a world where we have never been And we'll climb up on a mountain, y'all we'll let our voices ring Those who've never tried it, they'll be the first to sing
Whoa, my, my I'll see you on the other side If I make it And it might be a long hard ride But I’m gonna take it Sometimes it seems that I don’t have a prayer Let the weather take me anywhere But I know that I wanna go Where the streets are gold ‘Cause you'll be there Oh, my , my
You don’t bring nothing with you here And you can’t take nothing back I ain’t never seen a hearse, with a luggage rack So I've torn my knees up prayin’ Scarred my back from fallin’ down Spent so much time flying high, till I’m face first in the ground So if you're up there watchin’ me, would you talk to God and say, Tell Him I might need a hand to see you both someday
