My aunt just died and I wanted to play "Fly" by Celine Dion

Hopefully You Or I Will Never Need To Use Either One Of Them Again (Give It A Listen If You Ever Get A Chance) I'm A Huge Floyd Fan So It Was A Pretty Big Decision For Me To Go With It! PS Sorry About Your Bro

| Morbid..but what song is a must to your good-bye Posted: 7/7/2008 6:31:43 PM | Wicked & wierd I'm a road hog with an old dog singing slow songs trying to hold on Wicked & wierd I'm a rat fish trying to practice doing back flips on your mattress (Repeat x2)
Wicked, wicked, wicked and weird
Wicked, wicked, wicked and weird
Christ almighty, there's a rattle in the wheel well Dog fell asleep and man, I don't feel well But all I need is a half decent breakfast And I'll be back at it, dirty and reckless
5 o'clock shadow, lips like mudflaps hands like eagle's talons, eyes like hub caps The further I get, I keep going faster Whispers in the wind, and cows in the pasture I have no plans and nothing to prove either I eat out of a bag and sleep in a movie theatre
The highway's a story teller, I just write it down Already been beaten, there's no way to fight it now I just kick back and keep warm on the cold days And laugh 'cause it ain't like it was in the old days I figure when I make it to the heavenly gates They'll be working on my car and playing 78's

| Morbid..but what song is a must to your good-bye Posted: 3/21/2009 3:30:01 PM | Initially I couldn't think of any songs I'd want for my funeral, for there would few mourners there to hear it anyway.
The first one that came to mind was Alice Cooper's "Welcome to my Nightmare" and that made me think of his "No more Mr. Nice Guy" and then I remembered his "School's Out (for the summer)".
Perhaps "School's Out" would be the best one, for my learning journey would be over.

For me . . . I do not have a song in mind.

| Morbid..but what song is a must to your good-bye Posted: 6/29/2009 9:22:30 PM | I want something like this
"When I was young, My mother had chosen a song to sing me to sleep and now as I lay here for my eternal sleep I share with you that song, [Stewball - Peter Paul and Mary] and now I bet you're wondering what a man like me with many words might have had to add to that... Well there shure is no Jet plane i'm leaving on, but I can tell you I was indeed "Here for a good time (Not a long time) and yes I had a good time, and I'll see how much weight I can pull with god and maybe who knows maybe the sun can shine every day, I want you to have a good time now. Hopefully the recipe cards I left with the living with my instructions for lunch were followed and you're going to be in for some tasty delights. [to perhapse my loving wiftg [wifename] who died before me or perhapse she's sitting in the audience here today or maybe even perhapse I've died alone having never found love but dear god I hope that wasnt the case]

If I'm only allowed one song I pick:
Knocking on Heaven's Door - Bob Dylan
I've thought about this a bit, and I really like the idea of an Irish style wake, with refreshments and entertainment for all. Followed by a big bonfire cremating my remains. I have always thought to myself that, that of all days is mine, and I want people to enjoy themselves. I'd like them to play at least the following ten songs from my favorites playlist: Knocking on Heaven's Door - Bob Dylan Dead Flowers - The Rolling Stones Browneyed Girl - Van Morrison Bye,bye Baby, Goodbye - Janis Joplin Summertime - Janis Joplin I'm Going Home - Ten Years After With A Little Help From My Friends - Joe****r Angel - Jimi Hendrix Purple Haze - Jimi Hendrix Bad Side of The Moon - April Wine
Whatever else they play, I hope they have the party of my life!
