As for the Chinese girls a lot of their attraction for you has to do with wanting to pass on the genes--in China the govt only allows you to have one child so if you marry someone who wants children I'm sure she will be pressing you to get out of China.

One thing I liked about the Japanese and Korean girls I've met.. they weren't skanks.. they werent drunks, they were quite intelligent and were respectful of other people... this is a nice change..
.. oh and no.. the ones I met had a will of their own and werent the typical pushover Hollywood-Geisha/slave/mail order bride types which is the reason that a lot of guys look for them.. | |

I have to agree the ethnic mix is nice.. usually the best features of both come out although I guess sometimes it goes the other way too

If you like Asian girls here are some things to try
1) clean up that profile -- strip out all the meandering BS--get down to the basics.
2)They basically want 3 things--some financial stability, dedication to a one-man-one-woman lifestyle, and that you don't come on too quickly about the sex. Women all over the world--even if they may be horny as hell, like to delay sex long enough so they don't get the "whore" label.
3) Your personal best bet is probably a filipino--after all you're a catholic so there will probably be some compatibility there. If you're a bit on the religious side, that's a plus with them. But you'll probably have to wait on the sex till marriage with them.
4) do your best to weed out the golddiggers and visa hunters (if they live abroad)
5) Don't come across as gay (or "bakla" as they say)

If any woman (asian or non-asian alike) judges me solely on my portfolio....then they are as shallow and only looking for financial gains for their part. If they don't take me as I am...then they're not worth it are they? | |

i live here in atlanta georgia and the problem with the asian gals here is they dont really have the guts to mess with a white guy because its against there beliefs ive tried to meet a beautiful asian women for 4 yrs with no luck i guess im in the wrong part of the u.s but one time i had a date with a girl named mei lee she was a great girl she fit me because i love eastern philosophy
I am not asian,yet I find the generalized remarks about "asains" insulting and based upon ignorance(lack of knowledge).Eastern philososhy is varied. Various forms of Eastern Philosophies are practiced by MANY "westerners". There are many ethinicities of "asians: to generalize them I believe is insulting as there is more variation morphologicly and philosophically in Asia than in the west.Making these types of generalizations feeds into age old negative western manufactured stereotypes.
Perhaps,not finding an "asain" woman in ATL is a result of HER attraction for things OTHER than your ethnicity,therefore "guts to mess with a white guy" is NOT an issue,individual preference towards individual is.A good philosophy consistant with Eastern and "Christian" thought is to simply look at PEOPLE for what they bring individually to the table.In other words date people for who they are,not for what ethnic group they may belong to.I beleive an EXCLUSIVE attraction to people of a different ethnicity is based upon the lack of balance.

I disagree,I think there are BEAUTIFUL asian women of various ethnicities and beautiful white women as well as beautiful eurasian women. Just as there are homely/busted white women,asians and eruasians .......women are women. Interesting that you would now say you find Eurasian women more attractive than white women yet have previosuly stated a preference for white women,particularly Norwegien/Dutch/Scandanavian types. Posted: 6/24/2005 6:48:00 AM | Interesting Conversation. I am Asian, but I am rarely ever attracted to Asian women (unless you count Indian as Asian). I find Caucasian women very attractive - some people think it's because I was born in Canada. But as I read some of these posts, I can see that doesn't really explain it.
To me, Caucasian has an element of exoticness to it - though not culturally because I grew up in White culture (and also in Asian culture at home). But there is, to me, a certain allure in the look of some Caucasian women that is very seductive - and I think it's fair to call this some sort of exoticism.
But I think the generalization is true. Lots of guys find Asian women attractive, but next to no Caucasian women find Asian men attractive.
How sad.
But for the Caucasian men out there, lots of Asian girls (though not as many as there are Caucasian guys, but still lots) like Caucasian guys. A few even like them exclusively. So there's lots of hope for YOU guys lol | |

I think as the "white man's burden" white people think they are doing other ethnicities a "favor" by marrying them. Nobody is better than anybody else. There can be a big problem with cultural differences if you marry an asian. Some are by tradition very opposed to mixing with other races. Some countries can be just as racist as USA black vs. white, ethnocentric and xenophobic. Just my 2 cents. | |
