Actually, Statistics show that more than 55% of Asian female cohabitate with Caucasian male. 55%! Think about. This means that an Asian chick is more likely to be with a Caucasion than an Asian! Asian guys are lagging (far) behind but is catching up.
Seriously speaking, I believe this trend simply indicates that North America is a metling pot. Think about it. Some 60% of the population is Caucasian. So mathematically, if the society were really color blind, there should have been a 60% chance that anyone (of any race/ethnicity) would end up being with a caucasian. In this light, I guess we can say that society's discrimination against Asian females is at its very minimum (since the rate is already at 55% or higher). | |

Therefore dating them is no different than dating a Western caucasian girl. Be mindful that some (not all) of Westenized Asian females may have self-identity issues and low self-esteem (at some point of their lives).
It is a totally different "ball game" if you want to date the first generation immigrants who did not grow up in Western society. There could be some different core assumptions/core values. "Inter-civilizatinal" dating can be hard.  | |

Posted: 6/29/2005 2:45:56 AM | I think some men like Asian girls due to the oriental myth that they are all good in bed, meek and will do anything for any man who is eventually just a ticket to better lives. Unfortunately, the latter is true in some cases but is not limited to one race alone.
Women from my country have been dubbed many unflattering things which may be based on some people's experiences and cannot therefore be tagged as mere potshots. Hence, the stereotype. Sadly, word of mouth (or internet) spreads faster than you can blink and the general consensus is sometimes a burden that all Filipinos have to bear. Is it fair? Of course not. But can we do something about it? Individually, yes. We can either shrug it off (like I do) or make sure you can live with what you do or did.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news but not all Asian women are good in bed. Some of them are so frigid they put General Electric to shame. This is largely due to some heavy religious following or very strict cultural upbringing. Some of them are meek due to patriarchal mentality prevalent in most Asian countries. Yes, even to this day. A japanese consul walks a few paces ahead of his wife due to protocol (official and personal), a Korean family sometimes does not start their meal without the husband/father and a Filipino son is likely to inherit the the land if parents are given the choice between a daughter and the son .. to name a few examples.
Asian women are unique in some aspects.. ordinary in others. We're really just members of the opposite gender. | |
