Sometimes men are more high maintenance than women. I know it may be a shock to learn, but it's true!
I would have to agree with you Goodday. Us men are nothing more then older boys and always needing attention. Well... at least for me it's true. I admit it. So I guess that's considered high maintainance right? The only difference between a man and a boy is the price of his toys!
Glad to see all my friends still here. Charlie girl, Maddie, Goodday, damselinnodistress, and of course mandrake by frozen buddy. A fond hello to some new faces too. And if I may, some purdy ones at that! (Can't let Mandrake do all the flirting ...now can I?)

My mother told me that if you are calling on a woman, make sure you are a half hour late, that way you only have to wait a half an hour.
And I liked the one my mother told me mandrake. I was pouting around because my steady girlfriend of almost 2 years broke up with me back when I was all of 15. She asked me if I wanted her back. Of course I did! I mean I was so much in love! So she told me that if you want that girl bad enough to run FROM her as fast as you can until you catch her! Then she explained.....Do not let her see you so depressed and sad over losing her. Be happy, whistle as you pass her in the school halls, say Hi Gayle! As if you are happy and on top of the world. Well what did I have to lose, so I tried her plan. Do you know before the day was out, she passed me a note telling me she wanted to see me after school. Yep, we got back together because I ran from her as fast as I could! lol Oh, it only lasted about another 2 weeks. But by then I was out of love with her. lol But wow! My mom was a smart lady!

| Things You've Learned and Advice You'd Pass On Now That You're Over 40 Posted: 2/27/2006 9:21:06 AM | Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. People come into our lives for a reason, a season, or a lifetime. Embrace all equally!

| Things You've Learned and Advice You'd Pass On Now That You're Over 40 Posted: 2/27/2006 1:18:22 PM | Advice from my Gramma....You should always listen twice as much as you talk...that is why God gave us only ONE mouth, and TWO ears.
From my Godmother....Remember always, To whom you speak, Of whom you speak, About what, and when and where.
From Father Carl...If God brings you to it....he will bring you through it.
That when you lose your parents you would give anything to hear the same old stories you used to moan about....just one more time.

Finish school and get a career going
Travel before getting married , you might marry a man that is a homebody then you'll be stuck at home the rest of your life
have fun and date a lot and get a lot of tastes of a lot of flavors before settling down with one flavor.
