If this happens on a Thursday, I am so in. I have a coffee addiction that borders on needing professional help. I am moving to Okotoks in a month so anywhere in the city is cool. I'll have to drive in anyway.....

Ok, so for next week - I'm actually going to check out "Tumble Beans" tomorrow, its on 14th St SW at about 34th Ave downtown. Its been about a year since I've been there, but from what I remember its a comfy atmosphere (couches etc.). I'm checking it out to see if it has enough space hehe ... some Starbucks are small, and if we get 10+ going I want to make sure there is room for everyone. I will keep ya'll posted tomorrow ok?

(sorry about slacking on posting lol been a long week .....)

Thanks Dew, but I think it's a little too far south for me. I'm not trying to be picky but what about Higher Ground in Kensington, where they are meeting tonight? Just a suggestion, but maybe check with some who went tonight to see what their thoughts are.

The coffee meet tonight was great. Small but great.

Higher Ground doesn't have much room. Almost all of the seating are tables for 2, you can bring a few together but it's usually packed. We had 3 tables together in case more showed up (it was just 4 of us, one not from PoF) and every other table in the place was taken.

Good for very small meetings but nowhere near enough space for 10+ people.

Thanks for letting me know Lacy ... that doesn't sounds like enough room!!

Anyone been to the Starbucks beside Earls just off of 16th Avenue and 10 Street NW? Or how does that sound for a location?

Dew, why don't you go with your original plan of Tumble Beans? Go there and see how it works with the number of people and then if you need to find a bigger place you can change the venue. If that place works for the majority of people, then the majority rules. Not to worry.

Tumble beans isn't very big either, although ten people would be just fine. It's comfortable like a living room there, that's a plus. There's a Second Cup 14st and 14ave SW that would work too.
