| Calgary coffee nights? Posted: 2/9/2006 4:17:45 PM | I'm not sure if anyone was just going to show up, but my partner in crime had to cancel (a scheduling conflict ) .... so maybe we'll try again next week.
Thanks! | |

| Calgary coffee nights? Posted: 2/9/2006 4:30:46 PM | | where are these coffee nights... how late do you do them and is it child friendly or do we need sitters?? | |
|
| Calgary coffee nights? Posted: 2/10/2006 12:59:45 PM | Well last night was a no-go, so I spent it with my son instead. Last one I went to there weren't any kids, and to be honest, I wouldn't try to get my son to sit still that long. There was a kid friendly trip to adventure zone, but I didn't get out to that one. This sunday, I think we'll head to the Killarney pool or the Moviedome. The bar trips are the big winers, but I haven't been to those either. | |

| Calgary coffee nights? Posted: 10/28/2006 4:28:54 PM | just another wee bump for those interested in doing this again!
***see, I actually am nice***

| Calgary coffee nights? Posted: 11/3/2006 9:22:16 PM | I would love a gtg night...to be able to have coffee, hot chcolate, or whatever non-alcoholic beverage a person wishes.
Maybe we can find a cozy place and choose something other than a friday night or saturday night? What about maybe a sunday early evening? Something central or close to a c-train I think would be best for people. I know that there is a distance between north and south, but the c-train is not all that bad.
Maybe people can be a little suggestive in where they want?

This can be part of my 2007 vow to get out to some meets with you fine folks!
|
| Calgary coffee nights? Posted: 12/28/2006 7:45:44 PM | | Finally, the voice of reason. Why does everything have to be an alcohol drink fest? Offer alternatives and not much takers despite complaining many are "tired of the bar scene". I'm in for a good chat over a cup of joe....anywhere North is fine with me. | |
|
| Calgary coffee nights? Posted: 12/28/2006 7:48:35 PM | Thinking January 2nd or the 9th....both are Tuesday when there's nothing going on.
Myself i can make it the 2nd...but NOT the 9th due to work.

|
| Calgary coffee nights? Posted: 12/28/2006 8:31:54 PM | If there are coffee nights on sat, sun or monday nights...I'm in! Not much for partying lately so coffee night is perfect! | |
|

| Calgary coffee nights? Posted: 12/28/2006 8:57:20 PM | Is tea acceptable seeing that I do NOT drink coffee (ug...awful stuff)?
"Coffee nights Sat or Sun sound good to me too."
That would be rather nice for us single, out of towner parents

| Calgary coffee nights? Posted: 12/29/2006 12:18:10 AM | I like the north idea......any thoughts as to where?

| Calgary coffee nights? Posted: 12/29/2006 7:55:44 AM | Let's resurrect this idea for the New Year!
I think this is a great idea...count me in....there are tonnes of coffee shops around Calgary, and I am sure if we all put our heads together we can find someplace that is central for all of us...the biggest challenge for me is that I work during the day, and spend most nights at home with the kids...however I am sure I can work something out with my oldest daughters to make one night free...
|
| Calgary coffee nights? Posted: 12/29/2006 8:02:11 AM | | im actually with pappa .. us old timers like our tea hahahahaahah .. actually i drink both but prefe tea in the evening .. and a game of backgammon ???? il keep my eyes posted ,.. im game almost any time just too get out too a relaxing atmosphere and have some good convo or debates over a tea or a game of gammon lol ... will keep my eyes open for sure.. as much as i enjoy goin out too pubs and such .. it does get too be too much at times ... | |
|
| Calgary coffee nights? Posted: 12/29/2006 8:05:47 AM | | Mudd...gammon you say? GAMMON? No way...it has to be crib. Nothing beats a good arguement/debate whilst engaging in a game of crib...oh, and a cup of tea. | |
|
| Calgary coffee nights? Posted: 12/29/2006 8:11:33 AM | OOO this is something that I could be interested in too!!
Add in a game of "Go Fish" instead of backgammon or crib and were all set!
VVV Sweet!! If more of ya aint that good at the game, Ill be sure to whoop all your bums!!
|
| Calgary coffee nights? Posted: 12/29/2006 8:15:22 AM | | roflmao .. if i knew how too play crib id be game for sure .. and go fish .. i aint good a that game .. but i know a certian 5 year old girl that is lol .. heck most kids are good at that game lol | |
